Science/TechnologyRe: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by vitality22(m): 10:24pm On Mar 18, 2018
odimbannamdi:
Goodmorning Guys.

I am having issues with my setup. My setup consists of a 30A smart charger, UPS and 100ah battery, and it is less than 1month old.

No matter how long i charge it (even without using it and with the smart charger knob set to 120-160ah), it never seems to get filled up, and when i use it, it doesnt last me up to 4hours with my load of approximately 145w (laptop 70w, fan 65w

Also, for some very strange reasons, my standing fan (not rechargeable) doesnt work on the set up. the day i launched it, the fan worked perfectly, but an hour later, the intensity dropped. Now, it comes on but doesnt rotate. But when i plug it to normal electricity supply, it works perfectly.

What could be wrong?

CC: Ceejay80s, Xtifield
My bros, I can confidently tell you that there was no water in your battery at all. The battery will never be full because there is no distilled water to hold the charges. Get water from an air conditioner, use it to fill the battery through the holes, charge it with your smart charger with the knob placed at approximately 80A. please leave the holes on the battery open while charging it because some of the distilled water will escape.
Charge the battey full and use it. I hope the heat generated by the battery while you were charging without water has not cause any leakage on the battery though.
Am telling you from experience because i had the same issue with one of my batteries last 2 years. The battery is still serving me till today.

My TB just matured yesterday. And b4 I woke up the alert was already there.

Anyways the wahala now is this 13% u guyz are talking about is not sweeting me at all. And I hear cryptos are tanking.

Wetin person go do now.
My brother, please don't put in all that money in cryptos at all. What I will simply advice you do if you are a fearful type like me is to put into Bitcoin what you can easily forget. For me, the only amount I ever invested in USITECH was N21,900 (twenty one thousand nine hundred naira only). Am not a good risk taker.
My major investments are still in Tbills and MMF. Though my Bitcoin (USITECH) investment has never disappointed me as my interest is over 10 times my N21,900 and I started Bitcoin investment in September 2017 with the interest I got from one of my Tbills.

TONY56:
Assuming there's no penal charges like that of Union Bank, the answer to your question is that you are very likely to lose substantial part of the upfront interest paid to you.

Assuming you bought N1,000,000 TB on 1st Jan at 12% for 364days, your upfront interest before the usual deductions is N120,000.

Also, assuming you terminate on 30th August, the actual interest you will be entitled to for the 243days= 243/364 × N120,000 = N80,109.89.

That means you are to refund N39,890.11 as excess interest received.

Now, the 1m is now to be sold at 18% for the remaining 121days>> the upfront interest payable to the new buyer is 121/364 × N1,000,000 x 18/100 = N59,835.17. That amount (N59,835.17) will equally be charged on you i.e your total refund or deduction from your 1m is now N99,725.28 since you have been paid N120,000 upfront. This is the amount you would lose excluding other normal charges which are very unlikely to be up to the N20,274.72 left out of the N120,000 you received as upfront interest.

So, in a nut shell, you will be losing almost but not all the upfront interest you collected without affecting your principal (assuming there is no penal charge of 25% as it's charged by Union Bank). Otherwise, the penal charge will eat into your Principal amount
CORRECT!, I couldn't have said it any better

Please, is it wise to invest in Stanbic equity funds, seeing that the NSE is doing well now? What's your advice? Is the interest higher than that of Stanbic MMF?
I will advice you to invest in MMF with Stanbic IBTC, you will be glad you did. You can always check how your funds is doing with their mobile app any day anytime 24/7.
What I do is that every month once i get my salary, I increase my subscription for the MMF with 100k naira. After the first 30days, you can have access to your funds whenever you need it.

They’re both mutual funds. However, MMF is a low-risk investment, while ETF is a high-risk investment.
There’s an in-betweener medium-risk investment that balances the two ends of the spectrum tho. You can enquire from your investment relationship manager, and make an informed decision.
Many thanks. However, I don't do investment relationship managers at all. I do a research and due diligence on any investment before throwing in my money.
I cannot allow anyone to feed fat on my funds.

Invest half in Treasury Bills, get a good asset management company and invest N3 million in an equity mutual fund.
Most equity mutual funds gave a return of 40% or more in 2017.

Not that I don't know anything about stock. I was once a victim of fbn then #33. I know it involves risk and it doesn't mean I will not do my own searching background. So recommending a stock doesn't mean I will jump to it straight away. Moreover I didn't ask the question from you Sir.
Thank you for this response. I really don't know why when someone suggest another investment outlet which if anyone is interested in should do a due diligence, another fellow comes in to discourage it. That is one thing very unique about FEELAMONG the owner of this thread. He puts the investment outlets to you and ask you to do a due diligence and a take calculated risk. He was the reason why i went into Bitcoin (Usitech) and am ever grateful to him for that.
Am really studying stocks and wish to also go into it soonest. I just needed little information which i wanted @Invetment2017 to talk a little about it.
