I have the 40a souer smart charger and it gets up to 15.3V while charging my AGM battery. Does your 30a version reach that voltage too? I know that the voltmeter of some of these chargers can lie sometimes.

The maximum my digital souer 30A charger reaches is 14.76V while charging my 200ah battery.

You don't need inverter. Just connect your laptop directly to your battery. But battery should be outside your room. 100watt solar, pwm regulator, 5mm silver cable, 100amps used mercury battery.Bought everything for less than 50k then. But now everything av cost.

It came off too. I think there's gas build up when the battery is charging and when it becomes too much it has to force it's way out.

Go and buy this charger, its very very good. Thats the one I've using. Just dont plug it to a stabiliser. You can order from Jumia, thats where you are sure of getting the original. It sells for about 13k or so.

Yes i have.

It seems to be very fragile, as it burnt out on more than than two ocassions. Infact i had to upgrade a resistor inside it when it burnt at first. That didn't help.

Someone up there said it shouldn't be used with a stab, maybe thats why mine zapped because i run my house on a stab due to unstable voltage supply. But come to think of it , why should a charger spit out fire and die because a stab is in line with it.

I hear there is an analog version tho which i was tempted to get....until i decided to use laptop chargers and an mppt to charge my batteries.

The laptop design has worked for me so far with only slight issues i can afford to ignore. Let me knw which you bought and d experience....that is analog or digital.

I only spoke out of the experience i had. I had bought the manual of same charger and left it permanently connected to my AC stabilizer, within 2 weeks i just began to percieve an odour oozing out from the charger and that was it. I did some research before buying another one but this time around i bought the digital. One of my findings was that it should not be connected to a stabilizer, that's exactly what i followed and the charger has been serving me diligently. It will be 2 years in January 2020. Its just my experience. Personally i don't try to repair such electronics. Once it goes bad, I just make plans to buy another one.

That charger is very very good. I've been using mine for over 1 year now and its still going strong. Its not advisable to connect it to a stabilizer, just connect direct to your wall socket. I ordered mine from Jumia last year.

I wouldn't bother if I were, bought some from the US last year, and it didn't improve nothing. I only noticed it allows the battery take charge faster than normal.

The best and surest way to a healthy battery is to maintain a DOD of 50% in other words don't drain Ur battery continuously past the 50% mark and Ur battery will last u for years.

No Sir , it's a used battery tested okay and sold "as it is" at minimal rate before payment was made , call came in about a week time for battery charger to use same battery with a UPS which was later inconclusive. Next call was unknown battery charger was borrowed and battery backup not up to 2 hours and threats fir item tested and sold in peace .. so a mediator needs to get fact right as seller & buyer all have rights .. ! Thanks

He told me its a battery he has has been using and can carry modest load of not more than 200w but only for me to get home and test the battery 77w load and it didn't last more than 1hr 38mins.
I called and complained but he is speaking a different language from what spoke when he wanted to sell the battery

In as much as i wont hold brief for him, hope you charged the battery very well before using it. I actually bought a fairly used battery from him about 2 weeks, and i must confess that the battery is doing excellently well, though the battery was expensive sha. I had to sell off 2 of my dead inverter batteries to him, and paid him a balance for the used battery. Even when i took delivery of the battery, i had to pay the transporter of the battery. When i called him to complain of why i had to pay for the delivery after we negotiated of him footing the bill for transport, to my greatest surprise he refunded me. I was so amazed

yes it works but not like deepcycle batteries, but it works.... The mikano generator we have in my office was faulty and the engineer said its battery problem*this said 100ah battery is just 6month old* a new battery was bought for the gen and I carried the former and put in my car, I installed the battery for my mom's room, her led TV is just 22inch + decoder and its serving her at least 12-15hrs a day but they often have light for recharge, the battery is about 5months with her now, I use 20amp analog smart charger on it and when the battery is full, it stops charging.... Yes it works but with very low loads and make sure u don't empty the battery before recharge
