Greenville completes a 48MW gas plant to power this new 3 million metric tonne BUA Cement factory in Sokoto when construction is completed this year. By switching to Sourced-in-Nigeria LNG gas for electricity instead of imported diesel, BUA cement will be cutting 30% of its cost.
Nigeria produces 10% of the world's LNG. If could leverage a fraction of our 22 million mtpa from the 6 liquefaction units for industries, Nigeria would be a massive destination for factories. There's the Train 7 coming on board to move our production capacity to 30mmtpa #Nigeria is Developing

Sport in Kenya is a county (state in Nigeria) function. And every county is now building their own stadiums. They will be 47 stadium. Medium sized stadiums that can host county level function - not 100,000 capacity stadium in the middle of a bush like ASABA

Hosting a sport or a large events is more than a fancy stadium. That we can build in a year or two if there is justification. There are more important things - right from hotel and accomodation, road infrastructure, security, airport and many such facilities. Kenya has increasingly proven it can host world events. Both sports and big international conferences.

Why would Nairobi host Olympics soon. It simple. It already one of biggest global and modern cities - and going by it's growth trajectory will probably be biggest city in Sub-Sahara (infrastructure/real estate wise) in 10yrs overtaking Joburg. Nairobi has pretty much most of elements to support a big event..

And we will be given 5-10yrs to build fancy stadiums.

You cannot start from fancy stadium - and like ASABA thing - althetes get stuck in Lagos airport for a week.

I was just on super sport a while ago and I must confess Kenya has the crappiest stadium I have ever seen. Very ugly dilapidated facility on top of the stadium was written “The home of hero’s” so I am guessing that should be in kisumu.
