Of course, all the help Kibera can get is appreciated, there are like 1,000 NGOS in kibera, kibera residents rarely stay in slums forever, like is common in Nigeria, where intergenerational poverty is the norm.

Talk is cheap. Kibera keeps growing in the absence of affordable housing. Lands to expensive to buy and build so we see more rural-urban migration in search of green pastures. This is not the case in Abuja no matter how u try to sweat it. Make peace with that and move on.

What exactly is your beef with the pictures? You want the building clad and plastered while under construction. Yes Kenya is worth 4th most dynamic city in the WORLD - just behind Asia cities, Silicon valley and Austin.

The buildings look ugly,third world and ancient. SA long left this style of apartment building in the 90’s and they built such style for mass housing while urs is luxury sitting in ur poshest neighborhood. Wonder no more why high rises apartments in Lagos looks more classier than anything in Nairobi. Even as joburg evolved from archaic style like seen in hillbrow from the 90’s they still look better than what u are constructing for luxury in 2021. Very hideous looking set of similar buildings all over Nairobi making u see shiit like this as a boom. Give it 20 years and they would be degenerated to Hutu a kind of slumscrappers. This is a fact.

I have watched couple of Abuja vidoes - and seen aerial parts.
It's the CBD - with mostly gov offices - and few civil servant estates - and maybe embassies. That is all.
Mpape borders that abandoned quary and Maitima.
If you call Mpape - not a slum - then I don't know what a slum is - Kibera at least everyone get water and electricity.
Note - Kibra has parts made from stones and all that.

If u watched a couple of Abuja video then try watching more and this time let ur focus be outside of the cbd so u can explore new places. Tiny mpape is not with in the city limit- and that is just a bitter fact and reality- Abuja is not called a planned city for nothing- thats like allowing a slum to spring up right in the middle of eko Atlantic- not going to happen.
