I am least concerned about the figure of the budget, it can be 900trillion for all i care. What concerns me is the degree to which the capital expenditure is released and executed. That to me is what accounts for the performance of the budget.

Now, what exactly is their reason for raising their (NASS) budget from 115bn in 2016 all the way to 139bn in the current budget? What additional work are they anticipating besides making more funds available to themselves to steal in leu of the general elections?

Are they planning to employ more Nigerians into that entity?

Are they planning to pass more bills?

Are they planning to build more projects in their constituencies?

What exactly is their justification?
