so u have no problem infact people would be delighted to see you and you would be called oyibo (which means white foreigner).Anyway i know u have an impression of where u going to and dont be ready to absorb every thing .Nigerians are friendly people and only if you go to the oil producing areas like portharcout or bayelsa that u need to be worrried and this is because of kidnapping of oil workers there.Which is done by the jobless and unemployed youths of the area .u see the oil coys there have raped the environment and the whole place is a mess. But anyway u have no fear to be worried u could have fun in lagos visit interesting places e.g like African shrine in ikeja or the Silverbird galleria or many other fun places u before going to enugu so that u can enjoy the dynamic environment. you are welcome , but i will like to ask you one question is Manchester really safe to foreigners i ask this becuase i have an admission with the shool but the embassy have been refusing me a visa, i wonder sometimes whether i am a considered a threat to the British people thats why the keep refusing me a british visa after i paid my school tuition,, |
yea its safe but since ur bf lives in nigeria u shd contact him and he shd show u around.by the way is ur bf a nigerian |
Hello welcome to the club.i suggest u look at UK education scam and appealling a refusal of student visa for more stories, and you know, the funny thing there is a very aggressive marketing of UK education. It's one big scam to chop money from us. |
watch out the scam is on now, i just wonder why uk schools come to advertise schools when they know vey well that the embasyy would bnot give visa |
That money is ok for the calibre of stars coming.u fit try hang around maybe i will take u in.That money is little ,yahoo boys are just to excited, seems ur at the other end of the ladder.there som many people that can throw 20k into toilet. on a normal friday nite ,unilag boys burn up to 40 k |
I WISH I COULD SHOW U THE PAPERS HERE YESTERDAY .NOW ANYTIME I SEE STUDY IN THE UK ADVERT IT REALLY MAKES ME SICK. AND IT COSTS 100 POUNDS TO APPLY FOR STUDENT VISA AND THEN BOUT 50 POUNDS TO APPLY FOR THE PASSPORT. I SHOULD HAVE NAMED IT STUDY IN THE UK SCAM. ITS JUST TO HELP PPL WHO WANT TO STUDY OVERSEAS TO THINK AGAIN AND MAYBE LOOK ELSE WHERE IN EUROPE ,ASIA OR AFRICA ,I HAVE A FRIEND WHOS HAS ABOUT 16,000 POUNDS IN THE SCHOOL ACCT BUT WAS REFUSED. |
THERE IS SCAM GOING ON AND WHOS BENEFITTING THE EMABSSY OR THE HOME OFFICE, HOW WILL YOU SAY A PERSON WHOS PAID ALL HIS SCHOOL FEES,PAID HIS ACCOMODATION FOR THE SESSION AND SHOWN HE HAS MORE THAN ENUF MONEY WITH HIM BEING REJECTED A STUDENT VISA, DOESNT MAKE SENSE .HOW WOULD U FEEL MIZIEYA IF U DO ALL THIS AND STILL BE REFUSED A VISA BASED ON PROBABILTIES (THIS IS A WORDING GIVEN TO THEM TO USE BY THE HOME OFFICE) THAT YOU WOULD GO BACK TO HOME. THE PLOT IS LET THE APPLICATIONS FOR STUDENT VISA INCREASE .THEY SHOULD MAKE IT A LOTTERY IF THEY KNOW THEY ARE NOT GOING TO GO THROUGH DOCUMENTS STUDENTS SUBMIT. |
nice stuff |

THAtS WHY I SAY IT IS A SCAM, ARE WE NOT BEING TRICKED INTO APPLYING and COMMITTING MONEY FOR THE PROGRAM.LISTEN PPL, A scam is a scheme for making money by dishonest means , is money not being made? this is a very clever scheme by their embassy, they r d masters of the game{government 419) |
what can be done to remedy this , we need to put heads togther, people of africa |
you apply for a school and then you begin to receive a couple of mails which includes admission letter accomodation letter visa letter etc the school will invite you and say we are expecting you to come over in the nicest of words.you are apply for a visa and most likely you be refused and told to appeal. There govt even has told their officers to reject most of the applicants without appeal. they have the following phrases for you already waiting. 1. "I am not satisfied that you intend to return back to your country" 2. "I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom at the end of your proposed stay as a visitor" 3. "I am not satisfied that you do not intend to take employment in the United Kingdom." 4. "I am not satisfied that you will maintain and accommodate yourself and any dependants adequately out of resources available to you without recourse to public funds or taking employment; or will with any dependants be maintained and accommodated adequately by relative or friends" 5. "I am not satisfied that your bank statements can be relied upon" 6 "I am not satisfied on the balance of probabilities" BBC quotes" 80% of those who apply for the visa are refused". The real gist of this story is that this is a money making venture for their foreign office and the British High Commision.A beautiful scheme to collect between 40-100 pounds from each applicant.the person in their office is taking a delight in stamping your passport and once you are refused you probably(most likely) will be refused again without looking at any documents. The moral of this story is that we need to patronise our Nigerian universities for higher education and employers have a great role to play in this. Hardly do they support Nigerian Universities. |
