Tunde. Fowler under Jonathan could have been an incredible asset. He has done his job. The macro economics are not his concern. It is not his fault the naira has turned to shitt. The fault lies with the President and his economic team. |

Given the fact there is now a single treasury account for all agencies, it is not surprising. It is inevitable anyway. The real question is how is buhari going to use that money to better the Nigerian people? Mopping up excess funds from the system to generate this record revenue has created its own economic consequences especially in the banking sector. If the funds are not pumped back to the people via jobs, infrastructure , power and welfare, the Nigerian people would be losing at both ends. 1 Like |

Samuel kalu is better. We also have Samuel chukwueze of Villarreal that turned Alba, Marcelo and Ramos to jelly with his merismizing left footed dribbles, and has a 40 million Euro buyout. The next Arjen robben . He has better dribbling, better crossing, better end product, than Moses. And he is younger too. Moses should stay retired. 2 Likes |

You are playing with fire. Yes, you can't love everybody equally but yours is too extreme. Your own girls for that matter. The day I become a father, it would break my heart for my girls to know I love them less. Bad boys go finish them. I just won't allow such a scenario. 4 Likes |

In Nigeria when educational statistics are released, the north lags so far behind every one else. When employment into government agencies that is supposed to drive our national growth is released, the north dominates. Apart from the NYSC created by Gowon, can anybody tell me anything ingenious that the north has created in government? Just one thing. The south created the EFCC, NNPC, AMCON, SEC, NSE, SON, e.t.c. currently domainatsd by the north . Left to the abokiis, we would still remain in the stone age. 1 Like |

Oshigun:Give me one example, where any northern leader have promised the south west the presidency. ? The only voice we hear is from the west. The north for very obvious reasons will keep quiet until 2023 when there is nothing to lose, and then play their cards. In all the our political history as a country, Who between the west and the east have being repeatedly conned by the north? Customer dada ni yin. |
Politics / Re: 2023 Presidency Sets South East Against South West by Vtrd: 2:04pm On Jan 07, 2019 |
QuotaSystem:It seems you have a deep problem. Your anti igbo bias is making you make arguments that have already been answered. You claim the East are not diplomatic and so cannot get the presidency. I gave you many examples of our diplomacy. You turn around to claim from your imagination of course, that the fruit of that diplomacy is fake. If you can't get rid of your personal igbo bias and analyse well , then it's best I dump you in the same bin I kept oshigun. Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999 after the chaotic military era , we have been in mainstream politics for 16 years, so how exactly how we really suffered in politics ? You think we would not have gotten the presidency instead of Jonathan if we were so thirsty for it? |
Politics / Re: 2023 Presidency Sets South East Against South West by Vtrd: 1:27pm On Jan 07, 2019 |
QuotaSystem:You are the one blowing hot air out of a sense of anti igbo bigotry. What diplomacy are you talking about? There are major igbo leaders in the apc as well as the pdp. The likes of Nguge, onu, uzor kalu, the VON DG, Gov umahi are major igbo leaders representing the south east in the apc. How are you going to convince those heavy hitters who are earnestly anticipating the presidency and have sacrificed the reputation for the apc cause? Ogbonbaya onu was a founding member of the anpp which has collapsed into the apc. Are you going to tell him his efforts were in vain? Ngige and the VON DG screaming their voices hoarse over igbo presidency, how exactly are you going to pacify them? Gov Umahi who I am sure have promised his state to buhari in a trade off for 2023, how exactly are you going to pacify him? All the igbo heavy hitters who have sacrificed reputation for the apc, are they not playing diplomacy? Why is Governor Willie obiano not supporting Peter obi his fellow anambra citizen at a risk to his reputation and legacy ? Is it not because of buhari 2019, in hope for igbo 2023? Which other diplomacy are you looking for? When the SGF promised the east the presidency in 2023, you think it came out of thin air? Do you know the amount of diplomacy that have gone into that? Aboki, you see what you want to see. |

Oshigun:Ogbeni, don't quote me again. Who are the kingmakers? Is the SGF not a so called kingmaker? Which northern kingmaker said the presidency is going to the south west? We are not talking about the tinubu -led alausa group of clowns here. Don't quote me again. I am not going to reply. |

Politics / Re: 2023 Presidency Sets South East Against South West by Vtrd: 12:40pm On Jan 07, 2019 |
QuotaSystem:You honestly believe igbos will not be president soon? If you are so worried about the prospect of igbo presidency, then you'd best pray for division because it will happen sooner or later. We don't usually care about the presidency which is why it has lingered this long. Regardless of the political party, the desire for an igbo presidency is reaching at a crescendo, and it will happen sooner than later. Denying the second largest ethnic group in Nigeria the presidency is not feasible, and your leaders know it. That is why the SGF and other northern apc are talking about igbo presidency in the hope that we support buhari. And yes, I don't care about northern interests. There has never been a point in our history when northern interests ran along with Nigerian interests. Nigeria is a global shitthole today because there is a north in it. Take away north and our national socio economics become much better. I am not running for the presidency. I don't have to pander to the North. It is left for those running for the presidency to pander to northern interests. I am speaking as an electorate. What is certain is that we cannot continue this way if we want any real development of which the north is in need more than the rest of Nigeria. The system need to be rejiged. Meritocracy has to be entrenched. If Nigeria continues this way, no problem, the igbos will not bear the brunt of it. Our socio economics would still remain the highest in the country, whether you like it or not. Politics is not our daily bread. The last time I checked Jonathan was not an igbo man. There were yorubas in his government far more than there are igbos now in this Yoruba dominated government. So who is Marginalizing who? Or you just like the sound of your fingers when typing? What did Jonathan do in the south east that he did not do in the south west? Jonathan offers them the seat of house of reps leadership which they rejected. Tinubu on the other hand has claimed everything under buhari and left the rest of the south in the lurch, and you believe that is feasible in the long run even if buhari wins? If northern interests according to you is dependent on continued Yoruba patronage as the sole southern representative in the federal government, then your interests is built on thin air. The Yoruba have never represented the south ever. The SS and SE(the major south) have never gone in the same direction as the SW in our history. It will not stand in the long run and your leaders know it. 1 Like |

I don't even care about northern interests in first place anyway. I don't see the point of arguing for northern interests. Northern interests have never helped Nigeria. |
