Been awhile but i been a silent reader...
I am abit worried on Dropbox renewals from this experiences that has been shared here in recent times , cos this year i had chose not to renew until i am sure i have a travel plan to visit, to avoid un-used visas that i end up with...
My B1/B2 expired in Sept and its definitely looking like i would be travelling to the US first week in Jan but from London.
I haven't violated any visa usage/rules, so i am hoping i wont be slammed with an invite for interview..
When is the best time to drop my application for renewal, if i am to leave Lagos for London on the 21st December, and if all goes smoothly with the renewal, how long does it take to have the Passport&Visa ready for pick up? *trying to avoid December backlog stories that touch, hence my double checking with you all*
Does 1st week in Dec look ok to submit?

You need to read back here and visit the USA visa website.
We can not keep repeating the same information endlessly for every newcomer that asks tell me everything.
Do some studying, then come back if you have detailed questions.

if what I read up with had enough seasoned info, I will not be out here on the wall, when pple ask questions, be kind to answer politely "if u feel u must or if it was particularly directed to u" and not give a world of reasons why it shouldn't be answered cos it is daily being answered on the TL. I feel slighted with your line of "do some studing" then come back? lol, my question was detailed enough? anyway tnx

The real wakanow.com that i know is not a scam. i have used them more than 20 times on trips to the US, and they have NEVER disappointed me. they are more and more reliable than all these travel agents. I will always use them over and over and over and over again and again and again...

lol, if I ever narrate my story with wakanow, the entire universe will avoid them like a plague!

Wished I hadn't moved passed it, there are a lot I would miss out with the drama if I have to start typing.

But however, take it from me that Wakanow is a huge fraud.

Prior to enroute Teleperformance, i got a mail that i should have gotten same week i dropped the application and it updated on my Profile with TLS as Received by UKVI, so am guessing the Dormant tracker is coming up, Got there and batches of Application were jus received and being processed on the system, so i waited. they scanned my barcode and it still hadnt arrived....

5yrs renewal worse than my ever first application... smh

Sweety, so i passed by Churchgate ytday and they swiped barcode to check deilivery, itwas blank, it hadnt arrived to them. then i complained abt there inactive tracker that nvr updates and dey sd their server was bad and under mtce ot whatevr.

they asked we stick to when we recieve a mail that passport is rdy, only on that grounds can we have our pp.

@Vuitton007: what do you mean by priority to have your application fast track? Since you have got previous french visa i believe your application this time will not take long, though the fact you didn't use your previous visa is a flag but please explain to the consulate in details and let it be convincing, your application may not take time to process but act fast as they will soon go on Christmas Holidays. i just applied on 25th November 2015 and got my visa on 4th of December 2015.Good luck to you.

Yes i wasnt unable to use the previous visa cos there was this there Charle hebdo terrorist attack around my date of arrival there, and the unrest was for quite a whyle, so i jus dint bother and i nvr had any hoils off work to use the visa agn, it ran frm Dec to Mar2015.
i would definitely add a letter explaining this to them but if i get certainty that i wud get it within 7workings max, i will proceed to submit. trying not to gamble, it jus ceratainty thats keeping me, i have a paid ticket to leave nija on the nite of 23rd.
So i was also talkin about paying for priority to fastrack the application. how long fastrack is and how much?

It takes at least 1 month or more to process depending on the level of applications

Pls advice, by Friday this week, i should have all my docs for visa renewal with france rdy. though i have 2 isssues:
first is, i dint use my first french visa wich ran from dec2014 to mar2015, my hoils was in dec/jan and there was terrorist attack at the time so i cudnt go even from london, and i nvr had another hoils to use the visa, so it expired. though i intend to write a letter as part of my application stating why i couldnt use the visa, would this b ok?

second is: i leave nigeria on the 23rd dec, if i submit by friday, for renewal, are there chances it would be out before my travel date??

I have all the docs to give france ready, jus this pp am waiting to have from UK, if i get it by thurs/frday and i proceed to france say fri/monday max, are there chances it wud come out by 22nd/23rd max? its renewal, though i dint use the expired visa cos of terrorist attack lastyr dec

@Aibisoye, kindly stick to the reason, if you have an invite and that's what you're presenting, then stick to that otherwise if its for tourism then you normally do not need any invite (I usually prepare an itinerary using tripit.com although VFS will not collect it to include in your application pack but it may sometimes be helpful at the Point of Entry when you apply as a tourist).

For me, with your travel history, you stand a very good chance of getting your visa if you apply as a tourist. The last Schengen visa through France I applied for took exactly 21 days i.e. 03/09/2015 and I got a delivery sms alert on 23/09/2015.

there friends, my wife and son plan to visit Rwanda January 2016, i want anybody whom has gone there before should share his experience thanks

Had a week hoils in Rwanda , its relatively a new country, they are still recovering from the Genocide that took over their Land, your family wont have such a fantastic story to tell anyone, there aint no tourist place that would thrill them there, have them go to Dubai or Kenya.

However i still visit Rwanda, cos my fiancee flies on the airline there, and if not for this, Rwanda is not likely to be on my travel history.

This is 11 working days we submitted our application.Have u gotten any mail from them as regards decision.I see people getting there passports back in just three days.D wait is becoming rather too long for me.

Hey, so i got a mail jus now that a decision has been made. and i shud get the pp back in 3 to 5 days frm Teleperformance. Oh well, and u knw nthg ever updated on my tracker with the Teleperfomance pple....

Same issue too, got a mail from them on the 25th at 11:10am that Sheffield is in receipt and nothing has been updated,
