If Wizkid can damage a #50Million Porche Panamera car in less than 2 months and replace it within 1 week If D'Banj can wear a #3Million suit just for a show and he isn't gonna rerock(re-wear) again If Davido can refer to a #10Million endorsement deal as chicken change If P-Square can buy just a property for #400 Million If Don Jazzy can pop a $1.5Million champagne tho dem dash am And the many others... Why can't they put heads together and donate just $100,000 (#15Million) in just 24 hours? Its obvious there's beef in the industry. If all these big artistes don't save OJB JEZREEL with their money, na God go punish anyone who goes to studio to produce "Tribute to OJB'. |

The Catholic church says it opposes artificial family planning techniques, because it encourages bastardisation of sexual activities by young people and "impedes normal procreation." The Secretary-General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ralph Madu, made this clarification in a response to an enquiry by The Punch on Sunday. He said, "The Catholic Church believes that modern means, including the use of condoms is morally bad because it impedes normal procreation. You can meet with your wife when you do not want children and those periods when the woman is not fertile instead of having to destroy the sperm and all other forms of artificial prevention. "They are very artificial means and they do not really give the moral lesson that borders around the use of the sexual organs. "The one that gives you the opportunity to exercise your sexual urge without the consequences is the natural method and the church says you should go for the natural means." According to him, the excuse that it reduces the spread of HIV/AIDS remains invalid and untenable, adding HIV/AIDS is a disease that is prevalent among young people. Madu added, "When you are talking about condom among young people, you are also talking about promiscuity. People have adduced arguments in case of people with HIV/AIDS and especially couples who do not want children. The use of condom and other modern means are being bastardised among young young people because they will resort to the use of condom so that they can have sex freely without impregnating the woman or getting pregnant. "Those are various artificial means and the church is strongly against them. Instead, the church endorsed the natural method of copulation." Hmmmmmm! I don't share his sentiments. What's your take nairalanders? |

Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala held up a sponge cake representing GDP to an audience of amused officials on Monday, as she sought to rebuff critics who say Nigeria's strong economic growth has failed to lift millions out of poverty. Likening Nigeria to a household, she urged the country to focus on the government's plan to become one of the world's top 20 economies by 2020, which she said would be crucial to solving its other problems like high unemployment and poverty. It would mean doubling the current growth rate to 13 percent, she said. "Having this cake does not mean that every problem in your household is solved," she said, holding up a sponge with figurines of a family on it, at a televised conference. "But you have one wife and three children and ... if you have only this cake you're going to be suffering. You want this cake to grow," she added, swapping the sponge for a much bigger one, prompting a wave of laughter. Foreign bond and equity investors are taking a growing interest in Africa's second biggest economy, and President Goodluck Jonathan's decision to bring Okonjo-Iweala back to Nigeria from her world bank job in 2011 was well received. But she has had a mixed reception at home, with some politicians complaining she is too aloof and technocratic. Just in case anyone in her audience, including ministers and top civil servants, missed the analogy, she added: "Our cake is GDP and it is growing at 6.5 percent. What we want to do is grow the cake as fast as possible while solving the other problems." Despite a decade of 7 percent economic growth, poverty in Nigeria has worsened, official figures show, leading critics to say its oil dependent economy is merely enriching the few. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who hired Okonjo-Iweala during her first stint as finance minister between 2003-2006, was quoted in the local press last month as saying Nigeria's growth had not lifted the living standards of most Nigerians. Investors worry that widespread violence and insecurity will only worsen if Nigeria cannot get rid of youth unemployment and poverty, risks that take the shine off its impressive growth. The minister is trying to win support for moves to increase Nigeria's external debt, tapping into markets that offer much cheaper funding than at home, where monetary policy is tight. Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Jose Mourinho as First Team Manager. Mourinho has signed a four-year contract and will return to the club where he won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups between 2004 and 2007. Ron Gourlay, Chelsea FC Chief Executive, said: 'I am delighted to welcome Jose back to Chelsea. His continued success, drive and ambition made him the outstanding candidate. 'It is our aim to keep the club moving forward to achieve greater success in the future and Jose is our number one choice as we believe he is the right manager to do just that. 'He was and remains a hugely popular figure at the club and everyone here looks forward to working with him again.' Since leaving Chelsea in 2007, the 50-year-old Portuguese has worked in Italy with Inter and Spain with Real Madrid, lifting three league championships, two domestic cups and the Champions League. Originally appointed at Stamford Bridge in 2004, immediately after winning Europe's top competition with Porto, he quickly achieved success securing his first trophy for the club as early as February 2005, when we beat Liverpool 3-2 after extra-time in Cardiff to win the Carling Cup. We went on to win the league that season with a record 95 points and a record low of just 15 goals conceded in 38 games. The club celebrated consecutive championships in our centenary 2005/06 season, secured with a 3-0 win over Manchester United in late April, and the next campaign we were able to add the Carling Cup with victory over Arsenal in Cardiff, and the FA Cup when United were beaten again in the first senior game at the new Wembley. Mourinho departed by mutual consent in September 2007, going on to develop his already impressive CV by winning the Serie A twice in two years and the Champions League with Inter, before joining Real Madrid in 2010, where he lifted both La Liga and the Copa Del Rey, ending his stay in Spain yesteday. He brings three coaching staff with him in Rui Faria, Silvino Louro and Jose Morais. Each carries the title of Assistant First Team Coach and will work alongside current first team staff Steve Holland, Christophe Lollichon and Chris Jones. The new manager will be officially presented in a press conference at Stamford Bridge on Monday 10 June, further details of which will follow in due course. Nairalanders what do you think about Jose's 2nd coming. |

ameenahz: Well, if u guys had sex 3 weeks ago and it was on the day (or around the time) of her ovulation, then it is possible that she is pregnant. What i dont know is if there are PT strips or casettes that picks pregnancy this early and give you the specifics (1 week, 3daysTanx dear! Daddy ke! I just hope that's not d case.I'm just a 24yr old graduate managing a lil job.tho I'm an ACA. |
dayokanu: Congratulations DaddyLol |
ileobatojo: Yes there are pregnancy tests that give you an estimate of how far along you are. I don't know if they are that specific though to say 1 week ad 3 days. I know some will say 1-2 weeks pregnant or 2-3 weeks pregnant and so forth. Thanks dear. God bless you. |
ileobatojo: It's extremely possible. If you all (carelessly) had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago and it happened to fall during her fertile time or ovulation, then of course she could have gotten pregnant. Her telling you she is 1 week 3 days likely means it's 1 week 3 days since she missed her menses and so she is dating the pregnancy from her last missed period. In actuality, she has been pregnant for about 3 weeks. But yes the timing sounds right because the menses is supposed to come 2 weeks after ovulation so it makes sense that it's been about a week since she missed it.She told me she was suppose to see her monthly flow last wk,she also said the pregnancy test said 1wk n 3days. |
U guys just view d thread and leave . I need explanations O.Ibeg |

SEOUL/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. government agency has said North Korea has a nuclear weapon it can mount on a missile, adding an ominous dimension to threats of war by Pyongyang, but the assessment was swiftly dismissed by several U.S. officials and South Korea. The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) said it had concluded with "moderate confidence" that North Korea had developed a nuclear bomb that could be fitted on a ballistic missile, but added such a weapon would probably be unreliable. Its assessment was made public by a U.S. lawmaker amid soaring tension on the Korean peninsula and just hours before Secretary of State John Kerry arrives in Seoul on a visit to the region that will include stops in China and Japan. South Korean and U.S. officials say Pyongyang appears set to test-launch a medium-range missile as a show of strength ahead of the anniversary on Monday of the birth of North Korean founder Kim Il-Sung. The unpredictable state has conducted three nuclear tests, but it was not believed to be near weapons capability. South Korea's Defence Ministry maintained it did not believe North Korea could mount a nuclear warhead on a missile. Despite the DIA report, the Pentagon's spokesman and the U.S. national intelligence director both said it was "inaccurate" to infer Pyongyang had the proven ability to launch a nuclear missile. The DIA was criticized after the start of the Iraq war in 2003 for being too bullish in predicting Baghdad might have weapons of mass destruction. Its conclusion about North Korea follows more than a month of rising tension on the Korean peninsula. China, North Korea's only major diplomatic ally, denied reports that it was staging military drills along the North Korean border. North Korea, claiming the United States is planning to invade, has threatened Washington and Seoul with nuclear war, although most experts say Pyongyang has no intention of starting a conflict that would likely bring its own destruction. "DIA assesses with moderate confidence the North currently has nuclear weapons capable of delivery by ballistic missiles, however the reliability will be low," Republican Representative Doug Lamborn said during a hearing of the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee in Washington. He was quoting a report entitled "Dynamic Threat Assessment 8099: North Korea Nuclear Weapons Program (March 2013)". A U.S. official said the quotation cited by Lamborn was in a section that had been erroneously marked unclassified. The study, dated last month, appeared to be the first time the agency had reached such a conclusion. QUESTION OF MINIATURISATION Seoul played down the report. "Our military's assessment is that the North has not yet miniaturized," South Korean Defence Ministry spokesman Kim Min-seok told a news briefing. "North Korea has conducted three nuclear tests but there is doubt whether it is at the stage where they can reduce the weight and miniaturize to mount on a missile." Pyongyang has frequently cited the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq as a reason it needed nuclear weapons, saying that without them, Washington would seek to topple its government too. The United Nations sanctioned North Korea for its third nuclear test on February 12, sparking a furious response from Pyongyang. The North has also called annual military drills between U.S. and South Korean forces a "hostile" act. North Korea has stationed as many as five medium- range missiles on its east coast, according to defence assessments by Washington and Seoul. South Korean and U.S. officials believe it is preparing to launch a Musudan missile, whose range of 3,500 km (2,100 miles) or more would put Japan within striking distance and may threaten Guam, home to U.S. military bases. "INACCURATE" Despite North Korea's nuclear tests, there has been no hard evidence that it has developed a warhead small enough to mount on a missile and whether it can then ensure that missile re-enters the earth's atmosphere. North Korea last tested a long-range rocket in December. It launched the rocket into space for the first time but the rocket did not successfully re-enter. Pentagon spokesman George Little said "it would be inaccurate to suggest that the North Korean regime has fully tested, developed or demonstrated the kinds of nuclear capabilities referenced in the passage" of the DIA report. The conclusion of the DIA was not shared by the wider U.S. intelligence community, U.S. National Intelligence Director James Clapper said in a statement. The strong consensus inside the U.S. government is that North Korea does not yet have a nuclear device that would fit longer-range missiles that conceivably could hit the U.S. mainland. Civilian experts have also said there was no evidence North Korea had tested the complex art of miniaturizing a nuclear weapon to be placed on a long- range missile, a capability the United States, Russia, China and others achieved decades ago. Greg Thielmann, a former State Department intelligence analyst now with the Arms Control Association advocacy group, said that while he did not have access to the classified material cited in Congress, what was said publicly about DIA's assessment sounded quite tentative. "It really says to me that this is a speculative statement," Thielmann said. "Moderate (confidence) is higher than low confidence but it doesn't say they know very much." Lamborn, the congressman, said the DIA reached the conclusion in a mostly classified March 2013 report. He did not say what range the nuclear-capable North Korean missiles might have. U.S. spy agencies believe the threats of war from North Korea mainly represent an effort by new leader Kim Jong-un to demonstrate he is in command, Clapper said on Thursday. New South Korean President Park Geun-hye said late on Thursday she was open to resume dialogue with the North and would continue to offer humanitarian aid. Her long-standing policy is that the North needs to abandon its nuclear program before it gets aid. |

). What i think you shld do is find a means of getting her to repeat the PT before your very eyes. If positive, go with her for an ultrasound scan. The regular ultrasound scan WILL NOT pick a pregnancy of less than 5 weeks after which the gestational sac will be obvious andthe pregnancy can be dated (the scan done through the vagina can pick pregnancy less than 5 weeks old, anyway). Wt a positive PT and a normal, no pregnancy scan, then u r goin 2 become a daddy in the next 38 weeks!
