Phones / Nubia Red Magic 8s Pro+, True Beast Of Mobile Gaming by wahalaO(m): 1:46pm On Jul 13, 2023 |
Sources read that the Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro which was released on July 5th for the chinese market is finally going global on the 18th of July! The nubia Red Magic 8S Pro is powered by what nubia calls a "Leading version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2," with the reason likely being the higher clock speed of the Prime core (3.36GHz vs. 3.2GHz of regular SD 8 Gen 2). The smartphone comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and runs Android 13-based Redmagic OS 8 out of the box. The Red Magic 8S Pro is built around a 6.8" 120Hz AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has a resolution of 2,480x1,116 pixels. The display also has a fingerprint scanner underneath for password-less phone unlocking. The Red Magic 8S Pro features four cameras - 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 16MP selfie (under display). It also has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The Pro+ model shares most of the specs with the 8S Pro, except that it packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 165W wired charging support and comes with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage onboard. Global release of the powerful 8S Pro+ has not been announced yet, but many are already in high anticipation of this new gaming beast. It retails at $700 for the 24/1TB version in China, and is available for pre-order. |

Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by wahalaO(m): 12:56pm On Jul 12, 2023 |
dvkot: Exactly! So that's where the case of preference comes down to. I have a PS4 doesn't mean I can't have a good phone, even if they can't compare in gaming. Just because my S23 Ultra cannot run Farcry, I'll sell it to buy Nokia 1. |
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by wahalaO(m): 12:54pm On Jul 12, 2023 |
dvkot:I don't quite get this reply of yours. If reverse charging is a feature one cannot substitute, why is only 10% of the phones in the market using it? USB 4.0 that is not to be substituted, why is it only 5% of the mobile market utilising it? Even IP certificates, no be every phone get am, but e no mean say person no go substitute for feature wey dey more useful too am. Cutting corners is very common now, and you should be aware of that in 2023. A phone can't have everything, so we're forced to substitute things we need for things we don't. It's simple. |
Phones / Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by wahalaO(m): 12:49pm On Jul 12, 2023 |
omasanbobo: Sigh. Old phones just come look better than new phones. Imagine Nokia 9 Pureview being sold for over $1000 on eBay, phone wey no longer dey relevant in 2023 (Andriod 10). |
