Phones / Nubia Red Magic 8s Pro+, True Beast Of Mobile Gaming by wahalaO(m): 1:46pm On Jul 13, 2023
Sources read that the Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro which was released on July 5th for the chinese market is finally going global on the 18th of July!

The nubia Red Magic 8S Pro is powered by what nubia calls a "Leading version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2," with the reason likely being the higher clock speed of the Prime core (3.36GHz vs. 3.2GHz of regular SD 8 Gen 2). The smartphone comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and runs Android 13-based Redmagic OS 8 out of the box.

The Red Magic 8S Pro is built around a 6.8" 120Hz AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has a resolution of 2,480x1,116 pixels. The display also has a fingerprint scanner underneath for password-less phone unlocking.

The Red Magic 8S Pro features four cameras - 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 16MP selfie (under display). It also has stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging.

The Pro+ model shares most of the specs with the 8S Pro, except that it packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 165W wired charging support and comes with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage onboard.

Global release of the powerful 8S Pro+ has not been announced yet, but many are already in high anticipation of this new gaming beast. It retails at $700 for the 24/1TB version in China, and is available for pre-order.

What does anyone does with your mail The OTP they send you is to input to vote on the site and not anywhere else. You can't identify a scam site when you see one? πŸ€”

Anyway the link was sent to me by a company I patronise to vote for them which I've done and saw phone brand there as well and decided to share. You can ignore it. I won't post a spamming link here.

Well, I'm ignoring it. Needing to send me and OTP before I can vote? Even Nanoreview is not that bold. The feature is irrelevant.

It's not Nokia that's dishing out lower midrangers. It's a company called HMD Global. They're only borrowing the Nokia brand name to sell their toys. The real Nokia only does 5G network connection now.

Ah, I've heard that. HMD global not trying atall with their releases πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I remember when this phone came out, it has one of the best camera system in any android smartphone at the time, even now, the nokia x6 camera outperforms every redmi entry level and midrange camera system in the market.

Too bad things were haywire... Nokia was really going somewhere, things just fell apart.

You can't compare any phone camera to a DSLR
You can't compare any phone to a ps4
You can't compare any phone to a tv
you can't compare any phone to a laptop

Why will i want to pay an extra for a redmi 12 instead of a tecno spark when i know they both sucks at high end gaming

PS4: 400k
TV: 200k
Laptop: 700k
β€”β€”
Phone: 250k

True, i played contra (hard cops) on my almost dead sega console, gameplay was miles ahead of anything on the Playstore/Appstore. I still play resident evil 4 on my Playstation 2, no android/apple game even come close to the level of story telling, game play and cenematic.

Nothing wey I fit use argue this won.

It's quite painful sha, imagine surfing playstore, only to be flooded with numerous generic 3D pay-to-play games with bad graphics and storytelling. Sigh.

Exactly! So that's where the case of preference comes down to. I have a PS4 doesn't mean I can't have a good phone, even if they can't compare in gaming. Just because my S23 Ultra cannot run Farcry, I'll sell it to buy Nokia 1.

all these are features and specs that plays a deciding factor on the price of a phone so don't substitute any because you phone don't have it
I don't quite get this reply of yours. If reverse charging is a feature one cannot substitute, why is only 10% of the phones in the market using it?
USB 4.0 that is not to be substituted, why is it only 5% of the mobile market utilising it?
Even IP certificates, no be every phone get am, but e no mean say person no go substitute for feature wey dey more useful too am.
Cutting corners is very common now, and you should be aware of that in 2023. A phone can't have everything, so we're forced to substitute things we need for things we don't.
It's simple.

Na the new trend be that, any phone/laptop below 300k is almost unusable. Forget all the value for money terms companies/tech reviewers use to deceive us, na wash.
