hmmmmmmn......it's a good idea, but the question is.....what is the % of bbm user?......dropping whatsapp platform is going tovbe very difficult.....

The number of BlackBerry users has only dropped because even blackberry users were all using whatsapp. When the people in the ecosystem abandon ship, iOS and android users now don't bother installing bbm on their devices anymore

Now that whatsapp says they don't want BlackBerry users anymore, are we going to continue pining after whatsapp or we are going to stick it to them?

Maybe rather than struggling to get whatsapp to work we should go back to the basics and start using BlackBerry Messenger again

Since whatsapp doesn't think BlackBerry users are worth their time, why are we fighting to hold on to them?

Blackberry have extended it Service on BB10 for the next two years you can check it out

BlackBerry did not extend services on bb10. What they actually said is that bb10 only has just another 2yrs to exist. They will shutdown all central support and BlackBerry world. Which means there won't be a central place to get BlackBerry 10 apps for those who will still be carrying BlackBerry 10 devices
