you're right...i have like 40GB 3G data plan and i have not subscribed to their 4G data plan yet....i suppose that's why my device is not showing 4G

the 1k BB plan is only usable on legacy BB devices...since you have not been able to use it, you can call airtel Customer care to have the money returned to your sim so you can use it to subscribe to an android plan

problem with airtel is probably coverage and speed....basically and airtel plan will work on your BB10 device because the apn is the same across all data plan

Has anyone tried to use Ntel on a BB10 device? Ntel claims their network wont work with a BB10 device though

Allo is a native Google app that relies on core android APIs that are not available to BB10 devices so it wont be supported without a lot of tweaking and even that is not a sure thing

Device shutting down when the battery indicator is still high mean the calibration if off...a possible fix will be to update your device to the latest OS available...

Do you have a BBID? BlackBerry protect is in settings, go in there and activate it. Also go to protect.blackberry.com and log in with your bbid and password

Airtel BB data plans are charged at double rate...so your 3GB data cap is effectively 1.5GB on an android, iphone or BB10 device. you only get that 3GB data count on a legacy BB device (9810 et al)

subscribe to any regular data plan especially now that the networks are throwing data at people

Yes you can add multiple email addresses

Adding your email account is quite straight forward. Just go to settings->Accounts and start adding away. Enter your email address and email log in password as required

Use default settings as much as possible

I upgraded to v10.3 n I also set d bb protect stuff, my location settin was also switched on as at tym of theft; I did logged in to d bb site but d map feature was incoherent to me. I also logged my frnds Q10 bb protect on d site n it showed me it was in same faraway environment wit mine.

Log back inn to protect.blackberry.com and try to see if the map can locate the device...if it is switched off you won't be able too get a location on it.

Since you have installed the latest OS version on it no new user will be able to use it. Whoever is unlucky to buy the device from the thief will not be able to use it because it will require the person to use your BBID to log into it

Battery charging signs means the battery is drained and needs to charge for a while for it to power the device

Verizon and Sprint are CDMA networks!!! The phones can be found unlocked but the performance on GSM networks cannot be guaranteed

If the Z10 is password locked, only a wipe can remove the password. If unfortunately OS 10.3.2 has been installed on the device before you wipe, the device must be released by the person who has the BBID currently associated with the device before another person can use it. A simple wipe won't work

Have you checked your settings? Sleeping on your phone could have altered all sorts o settings on the phone

that said, Facebook for BlackBerry app for legacy and BB10 devices have been phased out. mobile facebook on your browser is the solution

I'm of the opinion that it could have been caused by change of APN (difference in compression rate)

the current data subscription from glo is as generous as the 1k for 3gb BIS plan that we have been using since BB10 came on the scene. its a simple arithmetic of how much per MB.

i switched from the BIS data plan to the one of the new data plan 4k for 9GB but i have now noticed there are other plans that are even cheaper than that.

On how fast data depletes, i know for certain that Airtel only allows half of their BIS data once they establish your device is not a legacy BB (curve, torch etc) so if you use airtel BIS on android, iPhone or BB10, your data will exhaust faster than if you used it on a legacy BB.

for Glo however, i don't think they are doing that on their new data plans because these plans are not for any specific device like BIS so they have to bill the data at the same rate on all devices.

2-monthly data plans and select the number for the monthly data plan you want
