Believers' Signs.

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Matthew 7:16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 12:33
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

The last time I checked the scripture I didn't see by their wealth we shall know them. I don't know why I like to ask questions. Happy Sunday. 🏃🏃🏃

Politics / Re: Trending On Quora: "Why Are Nigerians Fleeing Nigeria" by waldigit: 4:55am On Dec 31, 2023
KingOfAmebo:
Here's a trending article I read on the world's most popular forum Quora.

"Opportunities once flowed in Nigeria as abundantly as the Niger River, but that narrative has long changed.

Nigerians, known to be resourceful, educated, and fueled by ambition are leaving the shores of their motherland in droves, not in a casual drift but in a frantic exodus.

They're running from a crucible of crises that boils and overflows, leaving a residue of despair with no extinguisher in sight.

A country of numerous resources has become a labyrinth of misfortunes. Governed by the worst of leaders who have weaponized poverty for their selfish interest—that is, when patriotic Nigerians rise to question, and fight, the government, their opponent would be fellow poor Nigerians, fighting tooth and nail for the same politicians who have kept them so.

Nigerians find themselves locked in an ever-intensifying cycle of multi-dimensional problems. From economic chaos to sometimes, unbearable insecurity, the nation's woes accumulate like sediment, each layer more crippling than the last.

The government that the masses put their hopes on as custodian of public interest, has turned the country into a family enterprise, brokering ill-advised deals that mortgage the country’s future. Deals that have dwindled the Naira's value like melting ice.

Petrol prices have soared skyward to three times what they were just months ago, pulling along dreams and ambitions into fury flames.

And yet, our leaders plead for patience in a land where patience has bled dry. With this reality, the rich find their escape routes, seeking refuge in developed countries that offer a semblance of stability, leaving behind poor Nigerians tethered by financial constraints.

The only thing that seems permanent in Nigeria has become the disheartening truth that our yesteryears often outshine our tomorrows. This mass migration of Nigerians isn’t just alarming but frightening—a "brain drain" as it's called, because it's the middle class and skilled Nigerians who are leaving the country in droves.

Those who can no longer wait for the dawn are chasing the sun elsewhere, hoping to find what has become elusive at home— a life of value, a life worth living.

Nigeria has, year after year performed below expectations and for every emigrant, the implication is clear: faith in the motherland has eroded, leaving behind only the skeletal remains of what was once a thriving belief in a shared future that Nigerians can unite and make something out of themselves for the good of everyone who calls Nigeria home."

I have seen unrepentant sinners yet taking tithing very seriously, so i felt the need to address this misplaced priority which could lead them to hell.

Jesus said, what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?

So no amount of worldly gains from tithe-paying can ever be worth the loss of a man's soul if he doesn't repent of his sins.

God bless.
Matthew 23:23, 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

How much was paid to LASG for the approval?
Why is Tinubu's Bourdillon house, which clearly contravened the original Ikoyi masterplan not yet marked for demolition?

If the buildings have approved plans the owner has right to approach the court for redress.

If it's by it's definition, nothing is wrong with it. It's pro- humanity and support ideals of liberty and freedom.
The real problem was created by the military that midwifed fake fashion of that democracy since 1966. You Obasanjo, sir were part of that mutiny against the people of Nigeria. You created Barack version of democracy. Destroyed regional autonomy and true federalism which are ideals of our democracy as laid down by founding fathers. The present 1999 Constitution was the last born in the family of the fake democracy you impose on Nigeria ethnic nationalities.

When Obasanjo called Jonathan “clueless”, I thought he was being harsh on him.

But over the years, Jonathan has proven that he’s not just clueless, he’s a daft.

That Nigeria is where she is today is because of the man’s stupidity.

A sitting president allowed himself to be bullied out of power and became a confusionist since then.

Never blows hot.

Never blows cold.

Just there.

That’s why as an ex president he doesn’t have the loyalty of anyone.

I have a big problem I separated with my wife because she was a witch and the cause of my downfall. I had the custody of our daughter who is now 1 years 6 months old.

After getting rid of the witch I taught my business will be better than before but no. Things become even hard for me I started experiencing body pain and unknown sickness and we have been to church where I was told my daughter Is a witch her mother has given her the mission to kill me.

After prayers and fasting my health is getting better now and I have been to 2 different churches just to confirm that my daughter is a witch and yes it is true. I have packed her stuffs and i took her to her mother but she is doesn't stay there anymore and I don't know her new address. I am not a wicked person but I don't want her in my house because I don't want to harm her and regret it. What do I have to do with a witch?
You should be handed over to police along with those church rats

Religion / Miracles And The Law Of Harvest by waldigit: 9:03am On Nov 05, 2023
Genesis 8:22
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Joshua 5:12
And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.
The first Bible passage is the institution of law of harvest. While the second is it's implementation. By implication, this should help us understand that 'miracle' is not a subtitution of 'law of harvest'.
This is a wide misconception among many believers today. This today has even taken a lot of toll on many developing religious nations of the world.
MIRACLES comes from the throne of Grace and Mercy of God for a specific divine purposes and usually on issues beyond human control. Examples abound in the scripture. Israelites at Red sea. Exodus 14. Raising of Lazarus from dead John11:1-13. Opening of the born blind man by Jesus.John9:1-35. Feeding of 4000 and Five thousand people by Jesus.Matthew14:2, Matthew 16:10. Manna from heaven in the wilderness. Exodus 16
A critical examination of each occasion in the scripture reveals the following:
1. A clear divine purpose for the miracle
2. A situation at hand beyond human control.
3.It is usually a suspension of natural or spiritual order of events.
4.A revert back to natural and spiritual order after the miracle.
Conclusion.
The manner stops for Isrealites as soon as they received their first harvest from the promised land is a confirmation that: THE LAW OF HARVEST IS UNIVERSAL AND ETERNAL as long as the earth remains. There's no where in the scripture where believers are commanded to subject virtually everything to miracle. The commandment to sow and reap is from the throne of God's faithfulness and it's no respecter of anyone.
If a nation sows justice, it reaps peace.
If a nation sows investment in capacity building it reaps development.
This also applies to individual. A society where people depend on miracle for prosperity would end up becoming a den of corruption. A senario playing out before our eyes in our dear country Nigeria.
