My solar array ain't that much. Just 9 panels. 4 nos Jinko 380w and other random 5nos 250w panels. Battery is 14.3kwh, I built it myself. I like to DIY things...with enough patience you can do virtually anything....except, maybe, surgery on yourself

Fair enough. You appear to be a very diligent student of DiY, judging by the neat arrangement of your setup. I have sent you an email. Please share your WhatsApp number for a closer collaboration if you don't mind. Considering going for the bigger panels (725w) but the weight I see of those things are scary. Make e no go bring my roof down. Plus charge controller that would give me peace of mind no go cheap. With your help, I am more assured.

I don't know of any other trusted repairer unless you'd visit Schneider head office in Lagos at Ikeja Off Adeniyi Jones 1 Tunde Gafar Close. I'm sure you'd get info on repairs there.

Abeg permit me to be your curious student at this time. What is your Solar array strength. What is the size of your battery bank. Is there any part of the system that you wish you had done better? What is the relative cost of the components used outside the inverter? I would be ecstatic to get your feedback

I have Schneider 4048 inverter...all you need is an external charge controller and you are good to go. Get a good AVR too as it doesn't tolerate poor voltage from NEPA

Thank you for your support thus far. It turns out that the 4048 i got is bad. Do you know any trusted repairer in Lagos that can assist to fix it? Also. please i would appreciate it if you can snap and send your setup so i can replicate with my SW 4024.

No requirement.. It’s really just a matter of removing the old fan and installing the new one. DC fans have a small built-in rectifier that converts your household AC power to DC for the motor, so everything is handled internally.
It’s plug-and-play. Just get a Qasa AC/DC fan and have a qualified electrician install it like a normal ceiling fan.

Thanks for responding to me. Meaning that if I get a DC standing fan, it would work well with regular grid connections but consume less power

If you are using a separate charge controller,your connection has nothing to do with inverter.Jyst connect from PV to charge controller and film charge controller to battery.

Is your inverter 48v ? We need to know the voltage of your inverter ,type of charge controller to enable proper sizing of your panels.4000w is a lot for most conventional charged controller to handle
