Thanks for the info. Exhaustion has almost killed me moving dish left and right after a full day's work. I go try am tomorrow

You can try ABS 3A at 3.0°W There are channels currently there to meet your needs, besides the documentaries.

There is a carton station there,
Foreign movie station
Africa movie station
Also a music channel.

Tracking frequency

10972 V 30000
Thanks man. Means I'll turn my dish to the opposite side from astra 2f? I am really beginning to enjoy this DIY instructions. The feeling of achievement when you have successfully attained your quest is unimaginable. My investment in a sat finder is proving to be a good idea grin

The attached image shows a setup I did to use along with my Dstv decoder and my free to air decoder in one dish. Mind you 16degree east can still fit into the same dish just a little Way below. But I removed it because I don't need it.
I need your experience bro. There aren't many watchable channels on astra 28.2 e; majorly Ghanaian stations. Can you please help with a sattelite I can track that has cartons movies and documentaries with 90cm dish? I just wanna know. My option
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by waleayeni1: 10:31am On Sep 26, 2020

Study the image carefully and you will notice how easy it can be for you. Just track the nigcosat first (42.5 degree) tight your dish. Move to your joy TV frequency, connect your wire to your extra lnb . Then standing in front of your dish, place the lnb at the right side of the L shape bar holding the lnb. Then slide down slowly and you will notice the signal coming up.

As regards to tracking joy TV and 26e together, it's possible but you're currently having an issue getting the mbc Tp to pop on 26 degree. That's why I gave you another solution to still achieve your goal in one dish setup.
Thanks bro. Your selfless service is a beacon in this forum. Keep winning

Thanks for the insight. However, this setup appears too advanced for my beginner's level. I was rather hoping to attain the MBC channels on badr5 with the same lnb that I used to attain astra 28. Is that even possible?

I am really happy for you. But then, achieving that goal was all you so you don't have to be indebted to me. I remain humbled.
Thanks again. I noticed that the decoder is not picking the nbc channels on badr5 . I used the tp settings on lynsat to no avail. Can you please help me with how to get it? Already got some channels on badr 5

As for 28.2, I believe What you're missing is patience and steady hands. But as for 26e the mbc frequency has a very low signal strength based on location.

Also the line of sight can still play a tricky role in making something that simple like 28.2 degree be that difficult. Eg > mounting location and dish hanger alignment. You can also try turning your lnb from 3.0 clock to 4.0 clock or from 4.0clock to 3.0clock. Little things like this sometimes goes a long way to give you that edge towards achieving your tracking goals.

Less I forget I came to notice a long time ago that editing your frequency can sometimes do the magic especially if you are tracking with an old lnb.

For example let's say your tracking frequency is 12522 V 30000 and you change it or edit it to 12527 V 30000 on your tracker. Magically it pops up. Imagine that.
Thanks for your response. Please help me further. I live around obanikoro in Lagos. Using eutelsat 36e as reference, should I move the dish rightwards or left. The elevation too. How should I adjust it?
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by waleayeni1: 6:46pm On Sep 22, 2020
Good evening. I have tried to nail astra satellite at 28.2 e and Badr 5 at 26e but all of my efforts did not yield anything even with a satfinder. I was able to get eutelsat 36e quite easily. Please What am I missing? I am using a 90cm dish. Please help.

You can only combine multiple satellites on a single lnb if the satellites are very close such as Eut 16e and Amos 5 at 17e or Astra 2f at 28e and Badr 5 at 26e. Off course you will need a bigger fish than 60cm.
Did I do something wrong? The moderator that deleted my post and prevented me from commenting needs to apologise. I requested for detailed help on how to go about combining two different fta sattelite signals on one lnbf and I got sanctioned. Please be mindful of how you do your thing

Dear team,

Please advise on how to combine multiple satellite frequencies on the same lnb (like 7e and 16e). I have read passing comments about the possibility but i haven't really seen an in-depth explanation on how to do it. Please help

This is not abs 3w channels. It does not have channel 15. Engage a good installer and learn from him. Then build on your knowledge to be able to do more on any other satellites. If you are in Lagos, I am readily available to do it for you
The essence of this forum is to equip newbies with all of the requisite tools required to adopt the fta option. It is only when a person is unwilling to go through the adventure of learning and discovering what he /she can do with a little help, that you should offer your services at a reasonable fee. So the primary motive of every comment should be to guide the uninformed, not to peddle our services

If you are still connecting multiple Satellites to your disecq with your decoder on you'll definitely damage your disecq even if it's original follow come.

Firstly u said u will feed us back with your journey to hunt full nilesat in Lagos with 90cm .so the house wants to know how far before they will answer you bro.
You no dey quick forgive bro. The truth is my gear hasn't arrived from China yet so I haven't been able to experiment on the Nilesat quest. Also, I didn't say that I would nail the bird for certain ; I simply didn't agree to not trying at all. Please be a brother and answer my questions. I've been researching on FTA since last month and several grey areas exist. Like why is astra 28.2E that host the BBC freesat not receivable in Nigeria but MYtv on the same satellite is receivable.

Forgive and answer my questions bro

It's impossible to get Nilesat on 90cm dish in Lagos Mr.
Nilesat beam is MENA.

With 3m dish upwards you'd be able to get it on fringe reception, but even at that the dish has to be extremely well fabricated.

Although if you were to be living in Maiduguri or Jigawa 2.4m maybe able to bring that bird down

But Nilesat on 90 cm in Lagos is NOT POSSIBLE.
Dear friend,

Through my 3 decades plus alive, I've learnet to never ever say never. That's the benchmark of greatness bro. I'll tame the bird and give you a feedback. Even If I fail, let it be known that I tried
