What Commerce? Commerce that doesn't reflect in your VAT? The recent VAT exposed the fact that there is no commerce in East. Commerce is in Lagos, Ibadan, Kano, Ogun, Delta (thanks to Warri), Kaduna and Abuja. How your commerce couldn't reflect in your VAT still amazes me.

What development? Anambra is more developed than Delta? Wow. The only state in South aside Lagos with two recognised cities - Asaba and Warri with airport in both. It is recently that Anambra got her first airport. Which development didn't Obiano give you people apart from his sentforth airport? Your roads are not better than that of Delta, electricity is bad in both state, there is good water supply in Delta (especially the area you are insulting) than your entire east, there more more popular and developed towns in Delta than Anambra, all these has made the people to pay more tax that led to higher IGR than your state. It has made the people to consume more that led to increase VAT more than your state. Abeg quiet.
God will bless you...these peoples can lie to HEAVEN...
I fear ibo man ooo

Funding budget with ease doesn't mean you are more wealthy. If Delta State get that una meagre budget of 141bn in 2022, no need to borrow. Warri go handle am. Our budget is over 400bn+ baba. We nor be mate. Our VAT pass una own, our IGR pass una own. Una too make mouth.

The place that was destroyed and rebuilt without the help of govt.

The city grossly ignored by govt

The place where campaign of calumny is at its highest by outsiders Bt the place still grows

That place is anambra, onitsha..

Take it with you
I always ask myself , why do ibo always lie to themselves ? Why...
No capital projects that worth 6 billion dollars in any ibo City... Purchasing power there is poor.. igr is very poor... If I may ask ... Pls can you tell us what make onitha the richest city...

Onisha wey no man worth 500m dollars dey live.... No international airport...
It's not generating anything compare to asaba.... For natural resources , onisha poor , capital resources , onitha poor , human resources onisha poor....No popular celebrate or recognized government officials that live there...

Abeg the only place you can call a rich city in Nigeria it's ETI OSA LG In lagos... Followed by garlic/ maitama in Abuja , port Harcourt , asaba , ibadan and any other south south cities...
Reasons I placed ibadan above all cities in ibo Land is this...
8 months of vat report showed that ibadan alone generated more money from purchasing power than the whole of Southeast....

IBADAN GENERATED 69B
SOUTHEAST GENERATED 29B

Gbagura:
I asked the boy to openly prove that yeebos have more properties and more investments than Yoruba in Lagos. I even dared him to place a bet but the boy stylishly dodged my challenge with another baseless rants as usual.

I'm so glad this generation of yorubas aren't like our dundee uncles that have been fooled with wokeism to the extent of even defending yeebos that doesn't want anything good for Yoruba than shame and failure. Their fathers fed them lies upon lies, saying they are better than everyone in Nigeria.

Paystack and flutterwave both owned by yoruba persons will dwarf Igbo investments at alaba, trade fair and ladipo altogether. They think the world revolves around spare parts only when IT has taken over for long. They always come late to the party and brag when they make little success, thinking they are the best which is funny.

Yorubas don't brag on stupid things but these yeebos has forced us to their level and we're ready to roll with them for others to know yeebos for their falsehood.
They always tell lies that they are richer than other tribes
They have been telling these lies for long ...
We knew the truth but we refused to speak ...

Bro thanks... I get pisoff with the way majority of them reasons...
I know them better... I am very close to them... that's why am quoting the guy with confidence...We are far Richer than them...

We have more richests , industrialists in every sectors than them...but we don't brag because of the OMOLUABI in us

Few years ago Chris ngige was begging jagaban for c of o... I thought they said Lagos is no man's Land...

They always quick to exclude Lagos each time they want to troll us because of the inferiority in them... They knew they are beneath us , but they still want to compete with the best..

The guy just want to embarrass his people...

The Lagos State Government Monday formally inaugurated the state-owned oil company, Ibile Oil and Gas Corporation (IOGC), as a business arm of the state in the oil and gas industry.

Speaking at the formal inauguration of the company’s corporate head office in Lagos, the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, said the initiative was another giant step in the determination of the state to leverage on the recently acquired status of oil producing state in Nigeria.
He said the company was set up to manage the downstream and upstream activities of the state and protect the interest of all stakeholders.

“Lagos State is at the threshold of witnessing a boost in economic growth and employment generation given the evolving developments in its investment climate, particularly the oil and gas sector. The Dangote refinery, the largest in Africa and one of the biggest in the world, will soon come on stream at the Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ).

This multi-billion dollar investment will effectively complement the oil exploration activities of Yinka Petroleum and other oil exploration companies that will also operate in the Dahomey Basin in the future. This will complete the Lagos State oil and gas security tripod of exploration and logistics in the western axis, refining in the eastern axis and funding and exportation through the banks and the ports in the central axis,” Ambode explained.

The governor said with the inauguration of the office complex, the Ibile Oil and Gas Corporation is being positioned to become a leading player in the oil and gas industry.
He said his government was aware of the multiplier effects that a viable oil and gas industry would bring about in terms of investment opportunities that would be created in allied industries and sectors of the state economy.

According to him, this has been the main driving force behind his commitment to develop strategies and policies that will continue to ease the process of doing business in the state.
Ambode, who was represented by the state Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Olawale Wasiu Oluwo, added that “as a government, we are also not unmindful of the potential risks inherent in the oil and gas exploration industry in terms of oil spills, underwater aquatic contamination, gas flaring, community conflicts, youth restiveness, and health and safety issues.”

He, however, noted that the state government is taking proactive measures and would soon commit substantial investment to prevent possible occurrence of these challenges.
In her welcome address, the Managing Director of the company, Ola Debayo-Doherty, stated that to flag off the company’s operations, the company is finalising the front –end engineering design and development work on a gas commercialisation project to be completed in 2019.

According to her, the project will enable the achievement and realization of the state’s aspiration to make a step change and become the preferred business hub in Africa and also grow its economy to transform into the desired mega city.
