The reason why Yorubas are the biggest music stars of Nigerian origin is because they are unabashedly Yoruba. They do not try to sing or act like Westerners. Kudos to Lagos state government for showing good example of how merit and not nepotism should be the major criteria in making appointments to the judiciary.

I spent 17years in my little town here in Kogi West, and I always call myself Yoruba.
When I gained admission into a university in SW, I stopped.
I was made to feel inferior. My accent and some mispronounced words always make me stand out and I was laughed at. So why should I still claim to be who I was told I wasn't?
Although, I blended after a semester but that experience is enough to deny.
Yoruba people need history and geography lessons, too bad and poor!
Imagine someone living in facee and face you having guts to look down on you living well all because he's proper Oyo. Thunder faya them. Nonsense
