life_style: Hello everyone,

I am in a very confused and devastated state as i write this, After my ex jilted me few years ago, i decided to move on with my life and start all over again - It has been difficult i must confess.

I meet a girl that I admire, she is beautiful,tall,slim, fair in complexion and most importantly, hard working + she is a calabar girl.

I decided to ask her out but she turned my proposal down immediately, i advised her to think about it letting her understand that the plans i have for her is of good and not of evil but she was adamant.

I persisted trying to convince her but all my efforts proved abortive. she was very stubborn, it got to a point where she said she will never give in no matter what i say or do and advised me to give up on her.

Given up means losing, i don't want to be tagged a loser, i hate losing, i have invested a lot and i couldn't afford to let go at that point.


Last month she introduced her friend to me and i took them out for a lunch date, her friend is beautiful- birds of a feather, we chatted and had fun, i thought that was all but i was amazed when i saw her request on facebook to be my friend, i added her and we started chatting.

A week later, i asked her out and she inquired about my relationship with her friend but i told her there was nothing between us and sincerely speaking as at that time there was nothing.

Surprisingly, the same day i asked her out she said YES. I was happy. Two weeks later, the first/stubborn girl said YES, After a year. i was speechless. Now i am confused i don't know what to do.

Please, I will like to know if any one has ever been in this situation of mine ? ever dated two friends at the same time? what was the out come ? can i eat my cake and have it ?

I will like to stop here, waiting for mature advice on what to do cos i am in a confused state.

I can see this whole episode in different perspective thought i might not be totally right,this lady might have fallen for you but have her reservation probably from past experience,she now decided to put you to a test,which you had actually fail now because you should have told her friend the true picture and not that you have nothing to do with her which sound so diplomatic to me, now both wanted to teach you a lesson and the initial girl gave her concent too after a week,Could this be a coincidence or planning?.If you are really very serious in settling down,retrace your steps and take your choice prayerfully and come out openly to both of them....my only fear is that,if these girls are not playing you as thought out and they are serious girls,you might loose both of them but have faith in God that what will be long lasting will not pass you by.

Assuming papa Awo has done all he was accussed of,definitely that is not the kind of history or memoirs we need right now in Nigeria,an elder statesman like the great Achebe,whom i respect so much should not be seeing fanning the ember of war and discord especially at that age of his life,if there is a disagreement between two of his children,i feel,the best is to reconcile and be a peacemaker.
I kept on reading that,Awolowo and Ojukwu reached a compromise to secede south west and south east respectively but Awolowo reneged on the agreement,my question is that,At that time,did Awolowo,a civilian appointee have a military might to secede south west compared with Ojukwu that is a trained soldier,pls i need to be educated on this?.....

Ojukwu was/is a man that has ''mind of his own'',he did not ride on the wave of his father riches to become somebody in life,remember though he was a graduate,a brilliant schoolar,he went to army as a private rank until his brilliancy found him out,(A golden fish has not hidden place),dont forget either that the dad talked with him after a long time when he became a major in the army,he is a man to be admired sincerely.

Even the owners of Nokia have admitted Symbian is not a match for the Android so there's no need to do comparisons or argue with mere users.

Symbian and Android school of thought has spoken respectively and i have meticulously looked into the arguments presented,experience shared,research conducted,subject authority etc,i go for android henceforth.

Secondly, Yekini had attained a higher human state similar to that of Bob Marley! His psychology leaned towards higher ideals, above d animalistic survival push of our primitive humans nature!! Yekini isolated himself from the world because he hated its stench, greed, pretense, falsehood and deceit! I share similar sentiments! What is my offence to have being blocked on this forum,somebody asked for Samsung Galaxy to be sold and i responded that i want to sell mine that i purchased Dec,2011,next thing you are temporarily block,Pls i need to be informed why it is so,have i done something i suppose not to do?.

@Bernimoore,i read from the beginning of the forum till the end because i want to be informed,i think your contribution stood out followed by numo86 and Goshen360,Everything we have is being giving by God and nothing should hold it back if he wants it,i deduce so far that:

1. God loves a cheerful giver and not of compulsion.
2. We have been freed from the course of law and we should not unnecessarily put ourself in bondage again.
3. We must give for the course of Gospel and for the evangelizing and winning of lost souls.
4. The poor,needy and downtrodden should be planned for in our salary or wages.
5. God is not a magician and money doubler.
6. Giving should be with a sense of obedience and discipline.

Observation:@omopastor,the initiator of the thread,you are free to give anything to God especially since you said it was by direct revelation and don't expect everybody to be on the same page of your revelation,maybe thatz the angle God want to manifest himself in your life,but some of  your reply seems to be so abusive and insulting e.g ''to end your pains and misery''.
