To those who think Bukola Saraki is better than Ameachi nd Akpabio, I pity ur sponsors. Nigeria Politicians re all the same. Bukola became dormant simply bkos he lost the federal might. And now that he lost home and away, he became a gentleman.

From time immemorial, our leaders have always strive to be in good record of each other. It's an occultist practice among Nigerian leaders never to indict one another. This is evident in their handlings. Very organized and secretive. At sharing points, they see themselves as an indivisible entity. And when the masses become skeptical, they unleash their age long tactics: religion and ethnicity to destabilize the masses. If you are waiting for ex-rulers to be made accountable or be brought to book as obtainable in the sane climes, you may have to wait for so long.

Politics / Combating Vote Buying by Walexy1066(m): 12:37pm On Sep 20, 2018
Combating Vote Buying Syndrome
As a part of efforts to arrest the horrendous practice of vote buying, INEC announced its banning of phones at cubicles across the polling units. The decision is generating diverse arguments in the public sphere. It is important to state here, Vote buying is not new to our democracy. The undoing however is the renew usurpation and acceptability of the inimical phenomenon. While Nigerian politicians would do anything to stick to power, tricking gullible Nigerian through vote buying is not out of place.

Would Banning of phones stop Vote buying?
No. In as much people continue living in abject poverty-mental, socaial, materials, Vote buying would pervade. With or without phones, people can transact mandates for money. INEC might have done well by denying people from snapping ballot papers as evidence for collection of money from moneybag politicians, that to me is inadequate to osbsruct the unholy practice.

Way Forward!
Ignorance is not an excuse. People should be broaden. Political education should be steered among voting populace. Voters education must be carried out from time to time. Our political parties should live beyond filing candidates for elections, members education is sacrosanct.
Law Enforcement Agencies: if vote buying is a criminal offence as stipulated in the constitution. It's high time law enforcement agencies took it as a task-prosecuting individuals or party involved in the act.
Selling your mandate is equivalent to selling a soul. #Saynotovotebuying#

Politics / Wanton Killings As A Norm by Walexy1066(m): 7:40pm On May 04, 2018
WANTON KILLINGS AS A NORM By Wale Ibrahim

It no longer scaresome. Not because it is legit, but, it has become a part and percel. The incessant killings in Nigeria is not only worrisome, leud and lascivious. The killings devoid social stratas, yet has some peculiarities. With not fewer than 5 million drop of illegal firearms in the country, little wonder while killings are sudden and cheaper.

RELIGIOUS/POLITICAL MALADIES

If not direct causes, politics and religion are in no measures contributing to the ruthless killings. It's not new that people kill in the name of religion, also, Nigerian politics on the other hand is known for it's 'bi o ba o pa, bi o ba obu lese and kaaka ke'ku maaje seese, ayafi se awadanu ni'. Adulteration practices in religion and politics are akin to frivolously and reckless killings. It is now a common practice to politicize killings. It's delirious and folly to justify killings of innocent souls. Irrespective of whose corners it happened, wanton killings deserve an outright condemnation and not onfang.

MEDIA ONSLAUGHTS

News is sensational, unusual, and, accurate account of an event, but more unusual is the detrimental reportages by sycophants and yellow media outlets. On a daily bases, killings run on national dailies by junks either juxtaposing or glorifying the ungodly killings to ensue reprisals. With adverse effects of new media, Nigeria media is far losing it's stance as the 4th estates of realm.

NEED FOR RECYCLING

It is well obvious that Nigeria security apparatus have failed overtime, but not without genuine excuses, ranging from inadequate funds, inadequate manpowers, to inadequate adrenals and logistics tools needed. Authority should step up it's game by being responsible and showing more courage through counterespionage.

OF LIFE AFTER NYSC?
After strenuous servitude to d father land, d uncertainty of post-NYSC is d greatest fear of most graduates. With monthly Allowee ceased, graduates re left with nothing to show for d love nd respect shown to d father land.
So soon? The POP is d end of a begining of life, a new struggle, d survival of d fittest. All that is left in memory includes but not restricted to, 3 weeks in White rob under military watch, lining up in snatches for mournful meals, d occultic chants on parade ground, the exorbitant pricing at Mamy market, CDS' efficy and teaching alculturation.
Our heroes will soon b back frm bloodless war with heavy hearts, to dance to tunes of prodigals who have done everything possible to kill d "fun". The call has been answered, a clarion for clay? What does it cost to be loved nd left n solitary?
To the victors, in all senses, thanks for championing d cause of common existence. As u walk-in to d 'favor market', you will be favored. DEDICATED TO ALL 2016 BATCH B IN D HOUSE.
