I am sorry for d delay, i had internet connection problems plus I had to get things right before sayin rubbish here. Yes we were there and d condition is not as good as anyone will think (pls any medical person e.g. babyosisi shld call me so i can explain better cos i can start sayin medical jargons here). The doctor wil continue to take charge for now, he requests to have a straight talk with the relatives only later ds afternoon or tomorow mornin wen he is conductin the round. pls let be calm God is in control.

Lols, u dont expect me nt to know what to ask. im nt goin dre just for visit bt fact findin. we (medical students) go to that same clinic for our rural/community medicine postin experience usually in final year. i want to know d doctor's mindset abt d prognosis

Its not doctors dat are goin on strike, its other health professionals i think and its national. So either UCH or LUTH , all federal centres will most likely be affected. nt sure tho.

Its an emergency and must be treated as such, do you know any doctor that is God fearing that you can talk to and make sure upon arrival he will be attended to asap.

Can you download the documents or ask from those who have it for the doctor go to through and see what is at stake and how serious the issue is.

If possible, to show compansion on the doctor's face you can show him this thread to read some few comments and see the funds was raised by good samaritans who are willingly to do more if he gets proper medical attention.

As a medical student ,I think you should know questions to ask the doctor if it will be preferable take him out of the country and the best country.

If outside hospital is the best then, how can he hasten the necessary hospital papers to get the visa and other stuffs.

Mornin evryone, av bn followin ds thread for a while and i must say im really impressed. May d good Lord reward u all abundantly. As per d current situatn of things, his case (CLD if its actually so) is nt likely to be one thats remediable at awojobi clinic as d clinic is only renowned for minor and not too complicated chronic medical and surgical conditions(who advised dem to go dre in the first instance sef, perhaps i didnt go thru d thread well). If he's later being transferred to UCH here, im here on ground altho there is little i can do cos im jst a medical student bt i will try my best. UCH is closer to eruwa dan avin to travel bak to lag. It is well wt us all.

I think cleft lip reconstructn is a multidisciplinary mgt, and it even earns u an extra mark wen u say ds to a patient in a counselling session durin an exam. So dentists av a place proly d OMS, orthondotics team etc

A new account posting a new job to be sent to a yahoo account.

Being the smart type, I sent it anyway.
I already had experience with spammers and scammers and I knew when you are invited for a job, common sense tells you to make inquiries.
If you get an invite from CBO Capital, www.buyam.com.ng or from Maple won't you make inquiries normally? You would.

So when the call came through for a phone interview at 5PM, I went along fine.
Then I was asked to come the next day 8AM for an interview.
I was discouraged at home but my younger brother (Never doubt the importance of motivation) asked me to go.
I went in for the interview (three stages) with the final one being the MD.
After everything, I told him I liked him and he asked why. So I did what I knew how to do best.

They told me they would get back to me then I took a risk and asked them some questions (My personal keys too).
They decided whatever and asked me to leave. I left. I was at Obalende and I got a call again to come back to the same office. The office is at Ologun Agbaje VI.

When I got there, a sit, new laptop and other needs had been provided and I resumed same day I went in for interview.
I told them I wasn't based in Lagos back then because I came from Ibadan but they didn't listen.
Had to borrow shirts from my friend for the remaining two days before I went back home.

If you follow some of my posts not threads, you may have come across my tips at interviews. Very few though.

So congrats to OP, Seun you did a good job too and thanks to God for everyone of us because whatever we may be going through right now shall pass.
