Graviton2: Thanks, bro. I appreciate the support. It's been kind of on-the-fence lately, you know. Still considering taking my visa to the embassy to have it written down to another (Troy to be precise) but the possibility of that right now is minimal..Let's just say I've got a backup plan. I play for keeps. Things have changed lately at the embassy because someone told me that the embassy said he do not need to apply for another visa interview again since the duration on the visa is 2 years I suggest you just wait for the sevis fee to expire and pay a new sevis fee to a new school, by doing that you wont have issues with POE immigration or sevis since the old one is no longer valid and you automatically changed to a new school by paying a new sevis to the school and the rule is sevis fee is only valid for a year and after a year you are not in USA, you will pay for a new sevis fee |

slimmy05: Dude turned atheist when stuffs went bad. Had to switch options to Canada and those dude hardly give scholarship. I wish he got in here with his visa. stevecrun: So that guy did not use his visa at all..and he got the visa before we all did..For me,him switching sides to canada is like jumping from frying pan to fire..But seriously, because his school threatened him from Nigeria..he lost both balls..na wa oo zeezahbee: he didnt take a chill and follow the advice here. the school only just want him to spend a semester with them. he told the about his plans before he left naija I told him the way out but is like he is not ready to do it.. The way out is to wait for a year when the sevis fee will expire and he will just pay a new sevis fee to the new school sevis number he is attending and with this nothing dey happen, but i dont know why he is not doing that... I guess he is scared of POE immigration |

slimmy05: A case of sponsorship is different. It's either it reads family funds or personal funds or the name of the person printed on the I-20. Once the I-20reads family funds. It's no issue with the embassy at all.
Like my case, I sent my dads bank statement and during embassy I tendered my brothers statement of account. I still have countless of people who did thesame You are board with this big boss |

sirRiddy: When one is issued i-20, I thought the school would give one's info to the people at the embassy which they always stare at during the interview. During the course of this interview, will the VO be indifferent when he sees that the SOA used during admission is different from the one being presented at the interview? kennyrony: I wasn't the one that ask that question, I only gave an advice. I think sometimes last year a guy was denied cos of that. He said he use UBA SOA for his I-20, and during d interview he went with First bank SOA, in which d 2 SOA bear his father's name. And was still dined. Hope u'v not forgotten that d documents use in applying will be uploaded to SEVIS which d embassy have access to I dont think the VO at the embassy use that to judge during visa interview because i knew more than 3 guys on this thread that their soa for admission application and visa interview were of different banks and they got their visas |

Politics › Re: Jonathan, Buhari Are ‘problematic’ Candidates - Soyinka by Walspring: 3:20am On Feb 17, 2015 |
dharyour93: MY TAKE ON THIS:- Jonathan is been troubled by his not performing up to standard in the last 6 years. While Buhari is been haunted by his strict policies during his almost 2 years reign.
I always say this and will continue to say it. Let's assume Jonathan as a Military Head of State. He would have done far worse than Abacha in terms of Corruption and Dictatorship.
We should not judge Buhari by the fact that he was a military dictator. Everything he did during his tenure as Head of State is synonymous with military rule.
If Jonathan had ruled us as a Military Officer, I'm sure he would have been jailed by the International Criminal Court. The problem of Nigeria is not presidency.. We have what it takes to make Nigeria a better nation but everything is been shared inside Senate and House of Rep and people there can't question presidency and his cabinet because they have taken their own share. Imaging senate and House of Rep committees collecting bribe for passing a bill and before a project could be awarded and at the end the contractor didn't finish the project. Tell can those senate and House of Rep committees file a suit against such contractor Believe it or not, this is what is happening in Nigeria. If 20billion is missing inside finance, CBN, NNPC etc, we should ask the senate and House of Rep committees how much were given to them or if they dont share out of the 20billion. Am sure if senate and House of Rep committees are clean they will do everything to expose and jail them Lastly our constitution is too weak and its affecting the citizen and masses |

We should stop complaining about GEJ because there are alot of things we dont even know at all...
If our Senate and House of Rep are not corrupt, I am sure that GEJ wont be corrupt..
The corruption inside our Senate and House of Rep gave GEJ and every member of his cabinets, NNPC, CBN, Armed forces, Ministries, politicians etc to be corrupted due to the bribery and most of them dont even know why they are there, they are just sharing the money that belongs to you and i, the money they suppose to build this nation and we are here say GEJ is this and GEJ is that.
Am certain that if Buhari become the next president corruption will increase if we dont deal with corruption inside the Senate and House of Rep.
Most gullible people on Nairaland and Nigeria thought GEJ is the root of corruption not knowing that corruption started from Senate and House of Rep before getting to GEJ and his cabinets
If we want change, we should change the senate and house of rep ways of dealing with budgets and sharing money.
If we want power, we should ask the senate and house of rep member to uphold our powerful constitution.
If these people in the Senate and House of Rep are clean of corruption, they would fight GEJ and his cabinets for being corrupted but they cant because their hands are not clean enough to do so.
Lets wise up and Lets tackle the issue from the root |

Let OBJ do everything he can do now because Awolowo, Fela, Bola Ige, Azikwe, Gani are looking.. I guess when they see him one day, fela will do a new album, Gani will file a case against him, both awolowo, azikwe and the rest will ask him alot of question and how his generation destroyed One Nigeria they fought for, Bola Ige will ask weytin do NEPA obj privatized and yet Nigeria didnt generate power reach 2000mw during his tenure
