Please I have an issue concerning the emergency date...

My program starts by August 2022, but as at yesterday, I saw on cgi portal that September was available and I picked the date. Now, on getting to the emergency application portal, I saw that you can only apply for emergency date if your program starts in the next 60 days. I am in a confused state RN, and I don't know what to do. Any advise from anyone will go a long way.

You need to just take chilled pie and wait till when you can make use of the emergency date option.

Or you keep checking using the rescheduling link to reschedule for early date.

What am saying is if Federal government declare Tuesday and Wednesday as public holiday, US embassy will observed only Tuesday as public holiday and resume back to office their on Wednesday.

The best is for you not to delay in that page so that it won’t timed out.

Also use google chrome and always start afresh when it timed you out.

Yes and sometimes that approval can take forever with the new policy and process that CBN using to process invisible payments since the rate is cheap.

I can help to make the payment but dealing will be on BDC rate and it comes with charges as well.

Yes you can if it’s April/May 2022 you want to attend your visa interview. When you get to US you can renew it.

You can’t pay from Nigeria’s or use naija card at all.

Yes there is and it’s manual account registration for you via their system.

Sorry you won’t be able to create account yourself or do it that way on the CGI portal, It will need to be done manually.

The system is seeing your details as duplicating another account details since you have account before but if you don’t at all they will to override it manually for you.

You use your Bsc to apply for masters degree which is the norms everywhere

Applying for another masters degree in USA is like doing another masters degree again in another field or course.

For several weeks now,Ive payed my Agent service fee which he said he has payed and the receipt is yet to drop(as he says) pls could this be true? He said it takes over 4wks at times for the receipt to be issued out after payment. Could this really be true?

Well sorry to hear about this. But I hope no money issue before sending him sevis to be paid.

Sevis fee can’t take 4 weeks highest should be 2 weeks depending on what is the cause of the delay.

Is likely he has used the money for something else and he never pay, ask him for evidence of payment even though he said it will take 4 weeks and if he can’t provide then ask for refund ASAP.

My view could sound funny or somehow I feel since you said your agent, he have a plan to defer your admission since he can’t get early date for you and use the means to ask you for deferment fee or charges although I stand t be corrected o ooo.
