i have a question, just finished my service in feb,and a cousin of mine in the US told me she wants me to do my masters in her former school and she's also willing to sponsor me,my question is can it work out,especially in the issuing of visa,i want to know in other to avoid stories dat touches the heart...thanks.

For real it will work out if you work hard and research with google to find a suitable school of your choice..

Also as for your cousin being your sponsor might sound somehow in the presence of VO that you are an intending immigrant... Maybe you look for another sponsor who reside in Nigeria which can makes it look as a home tie...

Since its Msc, be ready to write toefl/ielts and gre/gmat but it depend on your course and school you are applying to and you will also need to do WEs evaluation too, for all these you need money no be small money sha.

You can pay with your atm card cos its a debit card and try make use of Gtbank own cos its no network failure when using it to pay for app fee.

I have a valid visiting visa to the USA, I would like to know my chances of converting it to a student visa when I visit in August. Also, in the event that I'd have to come back to Nigeria to apply for my student visa, if the student visa is denied, would my visiting visa be cancelled?

Well go and get your admission there and come back to nigeria to come and apply for the F1 i think you will need to appear in persn for that.. I dont think they will cancel your B1/B2 visa if they dont grant you F1 visa...

Honestly I have read and heard about visa denials but didnt just expect mine. I had all documents to prove my case but the VO didn't ask to see any of them.

One thing about US visa is that you can be qualify for visa with all your documents but you might not be eligible for visa at that moment.. It is God favour, grace and mercy and no be by people power..

I paid 350k to my agent (who no sabi shimgbain)...
I eventually used my money, about 200k to start d application(TOEFL, SAT, sending those results, bachel tutorials, Courier mailing, application fee--2times, SEVIS fee and visa fee--3 times... till I acquired my visa...

I've spent roughly 600k on acquiring my visa...
But all is well sha....

It is obvious that both of you like each other but one of you felt so disappointed in one way or the other. While it is good to fight sometimes if you feel bad or cheated by a good friend, one should also take caution in cursing the other person out. This is something you guys can settle without coming on here at all.

Amerinancy and Zeezahbee, I know you guys are so dear to these two men. As it is now, I believe only the two of you can talk to them to sheathe their swords and become the good friends that they used to be. Personally, I think all these going back and forth is unnecessary. You guys are all friends and I would expect you to solve these issues amicably.

Let peace reign and let us not look down on anybody because no one knows tomorrow. The Visa is only a stepping stone, we still have a long way to go and we all need each other.

slimmy05: House, I was delayed due to I didnt have my degree cert as its not available. I tire for uniport. Imagine since 2010 degree cert not still available. VO was like for 4years? I told him I even have an attesation from my school. He said anyone can print such even as it has university stamp and seal.

I will reschedule and go back again. It is not still ready as it take 5years for degree cert to be ready.

You know when issues like this arise, it gets you distabilized.

Was just very funny to me. I have been making contacts to get through to my registrar which I finally did and got his personal number. Would try and search for available date.

Will update y'all soon. Still got some busy schedules. See the GA I've been writing my ass out for. GRE twice Ielts ;DThis VO them funny sha. I've paid for visa fee, so I will be on the lookout for available date.
