Your experience brought to mind another event. I was in Primary 4 at Adeniji Primary School. At that time we used to hold classes in those brick buildings they call "Jakande Blocks"
At the time, we used to take food to school. On this particular day, I took food to school and was about to eat when I was bombarded with kids begging me all over. It so happen that this lil girl Francesca by name dipped her hand in my plate and took some yam and egg. I got angry and poked her eyes with the broad end of the spoon.
It was a miracle that she wasnt blinded.
I still saw her two years later in Primary 6 when she was reporting me to another girl who had a crush on me. That didn't stop the girl from liking me. The sad thing was we lost contact as I had to move to Iju from Surulere

I'm a naturally quiet boy. As a kid, I was very shy and prefer to immerse myself in books more because I also had a speech impediment which made holding a conversation difficult especially if the person is someone i'm not used to. Its better now though I still stutter a bit sometimes.
I've done several weird things as a kid but I'll share this one first and the rest after some contributions. The year was 1984 I was leaving at 47 Aborishade Street Lawanson, Surulere.
There was this lesson we used to attend in the evening after school. It was an open air lesson with wooden benches and two blackboards for the Junior primary and senior primary. There was thus pretty girl I had a crush on whose name was Doris.
She was tall and skinny and was a class ahead of me but I didn't care.
Back then I was poor in maths and arithmetics so she normally help me solve some problems most of the time.

It so happen that my Dad traveled to Jos Plateau and came back with pictures and stories of how beautiful and peaceful the place was. Mind you this was Jos of the 80s. To be sure of my claim, you can do your research or ask anyone who lived in Jin Jos during the 80s era.

Because of those stories, I started classifying myself as a boy from Jos and started feeding Doris my crush with lies of been a boy from Jos instead of Calabar and filled her head with so much stories that she lapped them up like honey.

One fine evening we were at the lesson and we had just finished the study subject for that evening. To while away time, the teacher decided to while away time by making jest of various tribes with emphasis on their intonation and mannerisms and we laughed. Suddenly he got to the part of Calabars and began mimicking their speech and body movements thus having us in stitches. As we were laughing, he pointed to me and said "that's how you guys behave" I was embarrassed and tried to hide and deny the fact that I'm not Calabar but from the Plateau tribe and my friend Doris even came to my defense vehemently that I'm not Calabar but Plateau . I had buried my face on the table in shame as she was defending me. To which the teacher reiterated that I lied about my true tribe. That was an embarrassing day for me.
We didn't see much after then but when we last saw in 1986 just before I left Suru le ri for Iju. We had been on speaking terms again.

I stopped writing movie scripts for Nollywood over fifteen years ago. I went into comic writing to enhance reading habits in our young readers.

Recently, I just finished writing a very hilarious book on the Covid19 LOCKDOWN and about to publish. On a second thought, I contemplating producing this �% comedity book as a movie.

If I produce this movie, will the book still be relevant? Will anyone read the book in the future.

All my books are extremely very funny. Some private schools in Lagos are reading them.

I need an advice on this. Thanks.

I think you should publish the book first before producing the movie. Reason is you'll be able to satisfy those who love to watch a book adaptation movie and those who prefer to read the book. In my case, I prefer the books to their movie adaptation because the books are more detailed. I read the "Hunger Games" books before the. release of the 3rd and 4th part.
I also read ",the Maze runner" book rather than watch the movie. I almost " Game of Thrones" book series but was stalled by he volume and writing style.
I also read "Divergent" and two other books from the same series before they were released.
That said I also wanna read some of your works.

When i was living alone as a young man. There was one particular week that i was damn broke. No money on me except #1000. I use the money to made yam porridge.

But can you imagine that i turn the yam porrigde into soup?

I beg my landlady for garri, she accept and i made eba with it. Using the yam porridge soup to step it down.

@JuliusMommoh yours is better. At least you had 1grand as base income. I've done several weird things out of hunger. Once I prepared rice concotion without oil and maggi. Just onions and salt and a little oil. Another occasion I had to go into a nearby bush to harvest wild cocoyams so that we can eat something but the weirdest I've done till date occurred in 2008.
I was staying with my aunt in Aina area in Iju and I was very broke. All I had was N50.00 and I was hungry. My aunt had nothing much and I didn't wanna impose on her so an idea came to me.
On the street "Afrika Shrine was situated along that Agidingbi area, was two event centers that always host events every weekend.
So I dressed in a faded shirt and denims with a not so good shoe and trekked to that Afrika Shrine street in the morning around 10am and waited somewhere until the event center opposite the Shrine building started their event. It was a wedding reception. I went there and entered like an invitee in my dressed down attire and got a seat with some well dressed individuals and was served.After filling my stomach there. I left the place and walked to the one at the beginning of the street on the left side. This one was another reception with a buffet. I even ran into a member of my church at this one. I took plate and was served. I ended up being well fed and even went for choir rehearsal that evening. That was the last time I went for a "Mo gbo m'oya party."

Hello, the title of my thread sound ridiculous aiight? Yeah it was intentional. Any device no matter how secure can be hacked regardless of the security protocols employed in testing its security level. Recently Apple was hit by a security breach that employs the use of a Spyware that masquerades as an app on the IPhone.

How this Spyware is employed and its function

The spyware is accessed as an harmless download link that is accessed through the safari browser. Once the link is clicked it launches attack stage 2 which is to bypass Apple app stores security breach and downloads on the phone. Once in the phone, it Jailbreaks the phone and begins to perform normal IPhpne tasks like making calls, handling video calls, and other things IPhone is known for while spying on the user and relaying information to an hacker in a remote place. It also logs information like keystrokes which every programmer knows is a deadly thing as everything you do can be compromised.
Thankfully it was discovered by a group of Ethical hackers who were acting on the information a friend shared with them about him being under cyber attack by some individuals. The discovery was reported to Apple who were clueless at the time ( this was as recent as 3 or 4 tears ago)
Apple responded by beefing their security patches and being safe.
As I write this, there are two Spyware on the loose now
Research "Pegasus (not the mythical beast)" and "Magic Lantern"

These are two deadly Spywares being used by the FBI and some business groups to spy on unsuspecting victims.
