Not sure. The person should give it a try if over 80% of the transcript content covers electrical/electronics. Also they need to have experience in the field.

Thanks for the feed back. I am waiting on his transcript to check through his course oulines. As for the work experience he has over 10 years experience post qualification.

Great jobs you guys are doing here. Been following since 2017. Already in NSW since 2019 on a 190 Visa. Never regretted the decision for a seconds.

Asking for a friend - if NCE in Electrical and Electronic Education can be used as formal qualifiation for Electrical Engineering Technician for TRA.

Hi everyone,
A friend here in Australia on student Visa, also she qualifies for any of these skilled visa (190 or 491).
We are of the opinion of her assessing as a Electrical Engineering Technician ( with a doctored job description). Our concern is that, wont there be issue because when she applied for a student visa , she wrote in her statement of purpose that she worked as a Technical Sale representative.
Also another opinion is assessing as a Technical Sale rep with VETASSE if assessing as an Electrical Engineering Technician may cause issues. But the chances of getting an ITA is very limited compared to an EET.
We need advices.

Dear justwise, great job u r doing here. Got a second mail from UK Decision making team.Kind of confused here.Is this a sign of rejection or wat?

"Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 60 working days.

Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible.

We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection.

Kind Regards,

UK Decision Making Centre"
