So, why were they protecting his image in the first place? Even if he were younger, he knew exactly what he was doing and should be treated like the criminal that he is. From my observation, he looks like someone that suffers from low self esteem and was probably bullied by white kids when he was younger. There are lots of loopholes in her story. She had a memory up to 7:30PM, so at what point did the guy spike her drink? She claimed her friend and colleague sought the man's assistance to drive her home, but her statement says she was abducted. The fact that she didn't put up a fight when the guy took her to that hotel shows there could be more to the accusation.

Here is my submission on what might have transpired: The lady drank herself to stupor and knew exactly what was going on, but was too weak to stop it. The morning after, she felt used and taken advantage of. Regardless, no real man should sleep with a lady who isn't sober because the law may use it against him. In the end, the woman may lose the case because the incident never happened in her apartment or the man's. She willingly followed him to the hotel without being coerced and that may count in the man's favor.
