emmatok: Son being opposition to DAD is not enough evidence for self defence.how about the issue of possesion of arm by dad? Since he's a traditional ruler maybe the law gives him some cover to posses such arm for self-defense right? |
emmatok: Its attempted murder , if he dies its manslaughter. But does the law protect one in case of claims of self-defence of the accused? In real truth the son has been in stiff oposition against the dad, the monarch; truth also is that his son made attempts to stop his dad with mob for preparing to host the governor who was on an inter LGA tour in the monarch's LGA who happens to be the comunity of the governor's key oposition in the state who also is the minister of state for education. Now could the law blame the monarch for using his right of self-defence to save his life? |
size38: The son should be thankful to God he didn't die. because using mob to attack his father in his palace, he should know his father must shoot him and his gang in self defense. If his father did not shoot to scare them away, he would have been dead by now.hehehe u call it self-defence or anlawful possesion of arms by civilians? Hehehe, and i ask again, wats the position of the law in this act? |
ogmask: In the event of a major conflict truth is the first casualty.you mean the police would'nt hv arrested him for taking law into his hands? |

I understand the buyer in ebay and amazon have no kind of buyer protection, hence the buyer is solely on his own! he bears any liability in case of fraud or seller's product not meeting advertised specifications. And i ask, do you have some form of protection from your experience with them? |

in recent times, many Nigerian youths have been involved in hasty marriages leading to frustration and most times early divorce. They even get into this life time business without properly placing thier feet on the ground first, and when asked they say "he that findeth a wife/husband findeth a good thing". But has this been true? And i ask, when is the right time to say "i do"?? |
Pls share your farming experience |
