DHL is good and fast. The tracking system was superb. As i tracked my andriod netbook laptop from product's Origin location in Hongkong, to product's destination in Port Harcourt, i saw the steps it took with air freight down to Lagos, then Port Harcourt down to my billing adress. I had peace of mine all through. But sincerly the price was terrible. I paid the supplier about $45 as shipment cost, this dint go well with me at all, because it affected the overall cost price of the laptop! Are there cheaper and fater ways of doing this? Whats ur experience?

Here, lets review cost effective methods of shipping goods down here without having to pay from ur nose for shippment cost

My advise is, import only products that can sell in ur vicinity. Dont go and import laptops if u reside in a small village locality. You can import GSM power banks, to charge or boost mobile phone batteries because of poor or no power problem in such comunity.

But sincerly, i'll advise u dont just jump into importation without knowing the tricks and skill of importing, the lose could be huge, also, u may be scammed! Dont shop without escrow service!

thorpido: I've seen RCCG churches donate boreholes,block of classrooms to some communities.Winners chapel has repaired roads around the main church and another branch I know.I have seen Christ Embassy donate an ambulance to Lagos state gov and donate household items to some charity homes.I've seen Synagogue church donate a transformer to a community and donate relief materials to some charity homes.I also saw them donate relief materials to Haiti during their crises.

Some don't believe in tithing and don't pay it.It depends on the individual understanding of Scriptures.

rareman: Thanks for this info, please can you clarify on the aspect of floor since you said we should not use cemented floor but a loamy soil kind of floor then how do we protect them against pestilence that you mentioned (ants, snakes etc) thank you

cemented floor is not advisable. snails have the habit if digging into the ground of thier house/pen maybe to lay eggs or relax, so you need to fill the floor with enough loamy soil. loamy soil is dark and can be fetched from a farm land in the bush. On avoiding snail enemies, you need to ensure there is zero access holes, or points for ants, lizards, snakes etc. and other methods of avoiding snail enemies. Also avoid human snail enemies, or else they will invade your farm and cart away with you livestock!

You need a mentor to guide you frm start to finish. We often advise our students to ensure thier snail pen/house is fully ready and comfortable for snails to thrive in thier new home in ur bacckyard. So MANY factors MUST be considerd before you start Heliculture business. Pls note do not start with Juvinile (baby snails), let ur foundation stocks be matured giant African snails, so they can mate and start reproduction soon.
