chymer: Shatta Wale, an influential figure in the Ghana Music scene, has taken a bold stance against his fellow musicians who have been clamoring for a reduction of Nigerian music on Ghana's airwaves.
Through a series of posts, Shatta Wale voiced his disagreement with the prevailing sentiment, asserting that such a move would not yield the desired outcomes.
Expressing his views, Shatta Wale conveyed his belief that even if Ghana were to implement the local content policy more rigorously, the influence of Nigerian music would continue to dominate.
His rationale extended beyond traditional airplay, delving into the realm of streaming platforms, where he argued that the government cannot compel Ghanaians to exclusively consume local music.
In characteristic fashion, the singer, known for his candid expressions, contended that the impact of the local content policy would be limited in the streaming era.
He elaborated on this, stating that enforcing the policy for airplay does not guarantee an increase in the popularity of Ghanaian music. Shatta Wale's skepticism about the efficacy of such policies highlighted the evolving landscape of music consumption in an era dominated by digital platforms.
kkins25: I've been thinking about this alot, and can't seem to understand what "submission" means.
What does it mean for a wife to submit to me? Also, can women provide what "to submit" means to them?
Is submitting to a man similar to submitting to God in the sense that man has the last and final say? Does this mean, the man's will should supersede that of the woman? Does submitting mean, taking care of? Please, explain it to me like I'm a dumb 5 year old.
To submit all the script u played to look like Housewife material

Wakatumbit: My wife is very insecure and it's making me tired. She's always suspicious of everything, I can't go out, I can't answer calls. The worst part is that she will be keeping malice with me cus she's suspecting me, she won't even say anything to me.
If a someone who I don't want to talk to calls me on my phone, and I decline the call, she will take offense. There was a day my mum was calling me and I didn't answer the call on time, she became mad that it was a woman calling and I don't want to answer the call.
If I tell her I'm going to the gym in the evening she will become suspicious. I can't even talk to my clients who are females in her presence because she Will be always jealous.
As I write this, she isn't talking to me cus I went to the gym yesterday evening.
I'm tired. She has never caught me cheating before because it's something I don't do
Its better you commit the crime than yo suffer the alleged crime .. I was in ur shoes fr 3, I later left 2020
buzmanjohn: Ahead of the festive period, MTN Nigeria is partnering the Federal Road Safety Corps to temporarily open the Amawbia, Anambra State sections of the partially completed Enugu-Onitsha Dual Carriage Way.
PUNCH Online reports that MTN is the financier of the dual carriageway that connects Anambra and other South-East states.
The Coordinator, MTN Community Liaison Initiative, Dr Reginald Facah, during a press conference in Amawbia, near Awka, Anambra State, said the road was opened to ease traffic flow for South-East commuters travelling during the Yuletide.
Facah noted that there has been a high influx of traffic along the Onitsha carriageway resulting in gridlock because of the Yuletide season, adding that the essence of opening the road is to decongest the traffic to make travelling seamless for road users.
He said, “Today, we are gathered to temporarily open the partially completed sections of the Enugu-Onitsha Dual Carriage Way, not because the entire project is ready, but because December and Christmas have seen unimaginable suffering on the parts of commuters and drivers on this same road.
“However, with today’s opening of the Amawbia section and the opening of Amawbia flyover, an untrammeled driving experience is once again here for human and vehicular traffic which are usually heat during this period.”
On his part, the Senior Manager Sales, MTN, Emmanuel Okereke, said the organisation is excited to partner with the Federal Government on a road infrastructure tax credit scheme to complete the rehabilitation of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.
Okereke said, “This road does not only connect Enugu and Anambra states; it is a gateway to the rest of the country and Africa. Our commitment is to deliver an expressway that will be the pride of the South-East people and Nigerians in general.”
In his remarks, Sector Commander FRSC, Anambra State, Adeoye Irelewuyi, said, “At festive periods like this, this section of the road always experienced very serious traffic jam at the slightest obstruction to traffic flow usually causes a pile-up in both directions.
“It is therefore with great joy and relief that the Anambra State Command of the FRSC is marking this occasion of the temporary opening of this section.
“We surely believe that it will ease the traffic jam usually experienced at the Amawbia flyover and underpass, as well as reduce road traffic crashes on the stretch.
The Sector Commander appealed to the people of the state and indeed all road users travelling during and after this Yuletide period to always exercise patience.
Earlier, the Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, Patricia Igwebuike, lauded MTN for their timely intervention and encouraged road users to use the road with caution, especially the Yuletide.

robosky02: Rivers: Dele Momodu blasts Tinubu over Wike, Fubara peace deal
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu, has said President Bola Tinubu cannot be the headmaster of state and Federal Government.
Momodu said Tinubu’s intervention in the crisis between Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike was legally absurd.
DAILY POST reports that Fubara and Wike have been at loggerheads over the control of Rivers State’s political structure and finances.
The rift had led to lawmakers in the state Assembly defecting to the All Progressives Congress, APC, and some Commissioners resigning from the Fubara-led executive council.
In a bid to resolve the crisis, Tinubu brokered a peace deal between Wike and Fubara at the Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday.
During the meeting Tinubu issued an eight-point resolution as part of the peace deal.
Reacting on Instagram, Momodu wrote: “The directives to Rivers State by a Federal President is really absurd in legal terms. No President can be a Headmaster of both State and Federal.
“What manner of democracy are we practicing that allows a President to intervene in the internal affairs of opposition parties and over-rules the Constitution unchallenged, and our politicians comply as if they are in a slave camp.
“Opposition parties must vehemently oppose this brazen attempt at forcing a one-party dictatorship on Nigeria.”
