Sorting of appointment letters continues....what they say is go home and come tommorrow...my findings are the letters are available, they are being sorted and may be distributed preferably as from tommorrow. And the induction is 5th August as earlier said. Congrats. Good luck to u all.

I am @ PPSB now and nothing is happening yet, but a reliable source said they are sorting the letters. Report from UBE also said, the letter is already @ UBE but nothing is happen yet. The only activity here is that, ex corpers are doing clearance.. Am still waiting...

Newly employed 13,000 teachers in Rivers State will commence training August 5 at designated centres across the state. The 13,000, comprising both indigenous and non-indigenous applicants, were selected outof about 60,000 who went through written and oral examinations run by consultants. While the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, conducted the written examination, global recruitment outfit, PricewaterhouseCoopers conducted the written stage of the recruitment exercise andcomputed the candidates’ assessment and final recommendation to the Rivers State Ministry of Education. Another consultancy firm searched the candidates’ academic and other pleaded credentials with relevant examination bodies.
Speaking to The Neighbourhood reporter on Friday in Port Harcourt, Dr. Richard Ofuru, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education said the training will be de-centralised but will run simultaneously. “The training of the new 13,000 teachers will commence August 5,” the Perm Sec stated, adding that letters of postings would be issued to the teachers in the course of the training.
The Neighbourhood gathered that not all whose names got shortlisted turned up at the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, and the Senior Secondary Schools Board, RSSSB, during the deadline for the submission of academic credentials conducted at the respective Boards. An unofficial source disclosed that replacements were being recruited by the consultants.
The new teachers are expected to be at their places of posting soon as schools re-open after the long holidays in September.

Fiafiad: @joblink, it is not true, your name has already happeard on the list and no body can remove your name. They may remove the names of those who submited fake certificate and replace it with the names of their loved one but not those who submited the right certificate.

Yes that is to fill in the gap. U are right. They can only replace names of those who are considered as not qualified...remember they annouced 13000 teachers, so by all means they must complete it.

Chibuking81: Am happy because senate in their yesterday meeting vote and agree to takeover the Rivers state house of assemble business in line with that of national house of representative resolution, and they maintain through their response that pro Amachi speaker still remain one and the only speaker, that the happening of the past where minority will overpower the majority will no longer welcome, they also ask the Inspector general of police to redeploy the Rivers state commissioner of police, also they are on the move to make peace between mr president and governor, truly I am very happy that God is answering our prayer, indeed it call for cerebration, I pray that God protection will continue be on our governor and those whom satan want to use to stop the work of God in our life be humiliated in Jesus name I pray amen, I believe with this development our governor can at least have peace of mind, and I believe that between now and two weeks coming our induction ceremony will take place with the present of our dear Governor.

Hopesweet: Infor from UBE, After l did my verification today, l went inside the office, to ask when we should be expecting our APL. The man said atleast 2 weeks from now, but that the problem is that many people that were cleared initially with statement of result, may not collect their ApL, because yesterday 2 persons(a guy and a lady) were caught with fake result. immediately they were arrested by policemen, that they had been locked-up in cell.
