Culture / Re: Why Do Some Nigerians Abroad Have Superiority Complex Over Those At Home? by wearerelated: 4:41pm On Apr 28, 2015
Probably, it's the guys at home who are breeding the inferiority complex.

The guy out there for all you care is also hustling to keep body and soul together. Yes, when he breaks his GBP or USD to Naira, it makes sense to see the big boy in him arise

But not enough to make my brother at home cringe in self-defeat!

God bless Nigeria

Politics / Re: Missing $20 Billion: What If Sanusi Lied? by wearerelated: 3:08pm On Apr 28, 2015
If Sanusi was wrong you mean (not lied).

well the PWC report already mentions a certain sum is to be refunded to the state; and the Minister also confirms that.

But if by a twist of fate, it's found out that NNPC shouldn't have to refund anything - then aologies will be made, egos once bruised will be kissed. And the country pushes on to the next big thing.

However note: that may not be! the Actions of the senior officers in this parastatals of government alreday gives the perception that something is not right; and the numbers point to that too.

God bless Nigeria.

my 4 year old boy, i reckon you figured out early how interesting our world is. In your case, "Ori e ja fun e" and you prevailed.

Like you dear, 100s of millions of Nigerians find themselves being favored by the great Almighty in the midst of our numerous travails.

Do you know for example, alot here in your homeland live on about $1 per day, and some even less than that? Another way to put it is very many wake up uncertain of food to eat, and return to sleep with empty tummies.

Now that you have been welcome officially with these special 25 names that would woo the Oluwagbatemis and Chidimas, not forgetting the Aminas in your rounded community.......your work as well as mine is well cut out.

Let's build this country right.

God bless Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Atiku To Buhari: Reverse PHCN Privatisation by wearerelated: 2:42pm On Apr 28, 2015
Jonathan has taken the first step in opening the doors to Private investment (in the power sector); forget the seeming shoddy approach to this.

Rather than get Buhari to reverse the process in its entirety, i'd subscribe to Buhari letting go completely of any government involvement in power; other than providing a workable climate for the investors to operate (tax relief, duty rebates, Right of Way, secured/gteed investment plans etc) and play a robust regulatory role.

The power sector should further be decentralised, to allow small communities who can pay for their power own their own power stations - or Co-operate with larger sized communities to grow their power potentials; as against our current plan of ALL MUST GROW AT THE SAME RATE, and ONLY THE FG CAN RUN POWER

God bless Nigeria
