I have been living outside Nigeria for several years and have four unresolved cases of people who owe me money and have gone silent or unresponsive, and I need guidance on how to pursue recovery remotely.

The first case involves a business partner I invested with under contract to start a car wash business at Shoprite; he claims the equipment bought with the money was stolen during the EndSARS protests, refunded ₦1.8 million of what was owed, still owes me ₦1.2 million, and has since sold the car wash business entirely, yet he now avoids my calls and messages. The second case involves a Nollywood actor I paid ₦1 million as an advance for a movie shoot; the project fell apart due to the actor’s personal issues, I requested a refund, and he has ignored or refused to pay for years. The third case involves a lawyer I engaged and paid ₦100,000 to help recover the money from the car wash case through the courts or a bank order, but the lawyer disappeared after taking the payment and never delivered any service. The fourth case involves a man in Benin whom I paid for a service he was unable to deliver; he refunded part of the money but still owes me ₦150,000 and has not paid the remainder.

Because I am not physically in Nigeria, I need to understand which of these can realistically be pursued remotely whether through Small Claims Court, a police report, a formal demand letter sent through a local lawyer, or a complaint to the Nigerian Bar Association for the fraudulent lawyer and how a diaspora Nigerian typically manages such cases without needing to travel back for every step.

Luck is a thing. It happens to everyone, whether christian, Muslim, atheist, Buddhist, rapist, murderers, carpenters etc, whether they pray or not.
I always use my example of myself. I had a spinal issue that made me unable to walk for weeks. I didn't pray to any scammer. Just took drugs. Now I'm using my legs. If I had prayed once, that's how everyone would be telling me its god.
OP have you thought that despite the prayerful nature of Nigerian christians, the country is getting worse daily. So why is atheistic countries like China, New Zealand which have considerably less christians than Nigeria progressing while we languish in Nigeria despite praying at any chance?
