[quote author=phayvoursky post=61653735]#1. GEORGE BEST No football player ever enjoyed his alcohol quite like George Best but his habit tragically led to his untimely death at the age of 59 in 2005. Born in Belfast, Best was extraordinarily gifted and became a part of the Holy Trinity at Manchester United alongside Denis Law and Sir Bobby Charlton. However, his abilities were always overshadowed by his increasing alcoholism and excessive riches which dogged him for the entirety of his playing career. Getting drunk at clubs and creating a scene had become a norm for the Irishman. In 1969, Best announced that he had given up drinking and women but that just lasted 20 minutes. His love for alcohol led to many altercations with law enforcement, arrests and eventually the loss of his life when his body rejected a liver transplant. Even though he had lost everything on booze, women and fast cars, his death was mourned by the entire football world. what about Federico Macheda of Manutd read about him here>>whenhow24..co.ke/2017/10/what-really-happened-federico-macheda.html?m=0

Messi-Talented, Ronaldo-Hardwork? For many years, the topic of Messi -talented versus Ronaldo- hard work has been a common issue in debates all around the world of football. This topic has been argued by players, coaches, pundits and most commonly, football fans since both players came to limelight. It is a controversial topic because both players are judge based on their style of play and personal likeness for one another. People are quick to say that Ronaldo is not talented but Messi is. This claim is not true because Ronaldo has been judged due to his body structure and personality on and off the pitch. Former FIFA President, Sept Blatter once said "But this is the other side of football and that's good to have such commanders on the field also. Because you don't have the same attitude, and that gives life to football and one has more expenses for the hairdresser than the other, but that doesn't matter … "So I cannot say who is the best. The [Ballon d'Or] list will be published on Tuesday, and then the public will make the choice. "I like both of them, but I prefer Messi." This statement is purely base on personal likeness for Messi perhaps due to his "attitude" and "style of play"... The international community cannot remain silent and not condemn the horrendous suffering caused by what, from all indications is a state-backed programme of brutal depopulation of the Rohingya inhabited areas in Myanmar on the bases of ethnicity and religion. We fully endorse the call by the Secretary-General on the Government of Myanmar to order a halt to the ongoing ethnic cleansing and ensure the safe return of the displaced Rohingya to their homes in safety and dignity. Football Betting is very familiar with almost every youth. Almost every street in Port Harcourt there is a betshop. Some people call it "office" while some call it "classroom" and some prefer to call it "youth empowerment". Some people even say "any guy that doesn't play football betting is that a guy?" However, no matter which name you call it, one thing is certain, in every ten Nigerian youth, there is one person who plays football betting. Base on this, I bring you the following categories of people found in betting shop: 1.The Big Stakers: These set of people usually stake with big money. They already book their game on their tab, laptop or infinix phone. They step into the shop and print more than ten copies with #500 each. This set of people normally don't have many friends. They just print their game and go. 2. The Predictors: These ones? they can forecast for Africa. They be like "that Chelsea game na draw last week dem come out for number 7 with crystal palace". One funny thing is that they will never play the game but when the game play, they start regretting. 3.The Phone Chargers: These people always come with extension alongside plenty phones. They will chat and charge from morning till evening. After everything, they will still go back with low battery. Lol. 4. Mr. Long Ticket: hahahahaha. These guys have dreams of becoming a millionaire with hundred naira one day. Their ticket long like river Nile. They can even tie their betslip round their waist. After everything first game will cut. Lwkmd. 5. The Pundits: These people normally come to watch match. They analyse games and give post match analysis. You don't dare change the station when they are around, if not yawa go dey. And again, they are very current; even more than Faraday. They know results, match time and venues. They virtually know the latest signing and you can never win them in arguments. 6. The Eye Wey See: These ones usually pray and hope other people win so they solicit for eye wey see; usually #50-#100 depending on the amount the winner won. "Rise me na" is their normal phrase. Lol "Obiano rise me na" hahaha. 7. The Novice: These category of people wants to start playing because their friend have won or they heard somebody won and then, they want to try their luck. They keep pestering someone with questions like: "bros wetin be the code for goal goal" wetin be Chelsea code. The worst is "bros abeg 2.01 odd and 2.10 odd which one big pass? 8. Virtual Addict: I personally feel for these setbof people. They are addicted to virtual soccer. So bad. Even if they win, they won't go with it. They will stay back and continue playing until they drain their hard earn money from them. Some come with huge amount of money and go back empty handed. Though, some of them are very lucky and when they win, Usain Bolt mood activated. They don't have time for eye wey see. They will ask you when they are losing whether you supported them? 9. Copy Copy: These people comprises of novice and the big stakers. They have no idea about the game but hey have the money to stake so they just stand near the cashier and reprint people game. They also standby to ask people for help on selecting games to play. These set of people are usually lucky perhaps because they are newbies. Those bookies will welcome them with first time winning and after say 2 months they become addicted to the game like a smoker. 10. Just One Game Cut Am: They can lie like lie......... Every time only game cut am. They be like that my #5 million naira game na only Chelsea cut am. And because of that they start picking offence against the team as if they know whether you exist. They keep saying they will quit betting but still they won't. 11. Phone Stealers: You barely don't see this categories of people in any betting place. Hmmm. If this people target your phone, my brother prepare to buy new one. They usually pick peoples pocket when people are fighting. Sometimes they steal out of frustration of losing. We call them aluu boys...hahahaha 12. The Pen Beggars: These people don't come to class with pen. All they do is "guy abeg help me with your pen make I just write small game" Some of them will purposely abscond with your pen while the others will kindly locate you and hand over it to you. Add yours.......... Source:http://whenhow24..com.ng/2017/08/12-categories-of-people-you-find-in.html?m=1

Why Neymar Left Barcelona for PSG by Kingsley Ibeto After days of transfer speculations and controversies surrounding Nerymar, he has finally join the French giant - PSG for a world record transfer deal worth £220m. The 25-year-old won seven major trophies in his four seasons at the Nou Camp, including the Champions League once and La Liga twice. But one may wonder why he left Barcelona for PSG which historically and sportingly, Barcelona is bigger in terms of finance and status, and have lower odds than PSG to win more accolades. Here are my major ressons why I think Neymar left Barcelona: 1. FIFA Ballon d'Or/Under The Shadow of Messi: Neymar's departure from Barcelona breaks up the attacking trident he formed with Argentina captain Lionel Messi and Uruguay forward Luis Suarez. Neymar arrived at Barcelona from Santos as a global star in 2013, but the Brazilian forward has always been overshadowed by Lionel Messi at Camp Nou and he is keen to be the main man for one of Europe's elite clubs. Records has it that since Messi came into limelight no player has won the FIFA World Best of the Year or FIFA or Ballon d'Or at Barcelona. In 2009 Xavi finished third place behind Messi and C. Ronaldo. And, also, Andreas Iniesta and Xavi came close to winning it in 2010, the year Spain won the World Cup but they finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. Again, Xavi and Iniesta respectively, finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in 2011 and 2012. According to Sport , one of Neymar ’ s trusted advisors has urged the ‘ frustrated ’ forward to leave Barcelona, telling the 25- year - old: “ By the side of Messi you will always be second , you will always be in his shadow ”. Messi is untouchable at Nou Camp. He is loved by everybody, and they can do everything possible to keep him and making happy. They can sell a player because of him, sack a coach because of him. In fact, one of any coach responsibities is to make Messi happen. Take for instance, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a footballer who is not accustomed to failure. The man who once pronounced that he couldn't "help but laugh at how perfect I am" has enjoyed stellar success wherever he has travelled in his career, with one glaring exception - Barcelona. Why? According to Zlatan, Messi allegedly demanded a change of tactics from Pep Guardiola. "It started well but then Messi started to talk," Ibrahimovic claimed in his book, 'I Am Zlatan' in 2011. "He wanted to play in the middle, not on the wing, so the system changed from 4-3-3 to 4-5-1. I was sacrificed and no longer had the freedom on the pitch I need to succeed." Eto,o, Thiery Henry, Suarez, and Sanchez are all good but cannot outshine Messi at Barca because the team is build around him. Neymar is yet to achieve his dream of winning the Ballon d’Or and it’s believed a move away from the Nou Camp could aid his bid for the prestigious prize. At PSG, he will be the team's star player and also the focal point in an ambitious sporting project. 2. Brazilian Factor: it is exciting and fun to be with your compatriot in the same club. No language barrier, better understanding, familiar faces and that kind of samba atmosphere. Not less than 6 Brazilians are currently plying their trade at PSG namely: Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Dani Alves, Lucas Moura, Gustavo (no senior appearance yet) and more recently, Neymar Junior. Thiago Motta, is also Brazil-born midfielder who chose to represent Italy as a senior international. They should rename Paris Samba-Germain. In a couple of days to come the 2017/18 Premier League season will kick off. Most of the Premier League managers are really busy in the transfer market in order to make ends meet next season. But one thing is for sure - only one team will lift the trophy come May, 2018. So here are my reasons why I think Jose Mourinho's side will lift the trophy. 1. Early Transfer Deal - Manchester United has already concluded a deal for Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and more recently, Matic from rivals, Chelsea. All transfer deals were done so soon. Mourinho is still keen on adding another name to his transfer deals. Perisic has been heavily linked to the Old Trafford side. If a deal can be struck, then I think it will be mission accomplished for Mourinho. However, nobody knows who might come in lately. But, I'm certain Mourinho is pretty satisfied with his summer recruitment. Signing players very early is an added advantage. He will likely settle with his new team mates, acclimatize with the manager's philosophy etc. Recall, Mourinho won the league on his second season with Chelsea mainly because he signed the adequate players so early before the season began. Read what he said 4 years ago at Chelsea in his second season. "Many clubs are waiting to the last moment to make their decisions," Mourinho said. "The problem is that those decisions affect not just one or two clubs, but a lot of them. "The one who sells has to go and buy, then they have to buy to replace, so no club is safe. "Until the last minute somebody can go there and steal a player. I don't mean steal a player, but steal the balance that a manager has when he's working with a team. "In that aspect, we are lucky because we don't have players to sell, so none of my players is leaving under any circumstances. "That's good for me, but many teams will be until the last moment under pressure, without knowing how the squad is going to be." 2. Premier League Experience: Among the title favorites, Jose Mourinho is the most experience manager. When I say title favorites, I mean Chelsea, Man City and Manutd with all due respect to rest of the premier league teams. Mourinho has been in the premier league for more than 5 seasons spanning from two spells with Chelsea and currently, the Red Devils. Guardiola and Conte are very good managers. The latter has similar tactical noules with Jose. Certainly, this season will be interesting. But I am backing José side to win it. 3. Second Season Syndrome: need I write much about this? Anybody who has followed Maurinho since when he was at FC Porto will understand what am saying. To cut the story short, just take a look at Jose Mourinho's second-season title wins below: 2003 - Porto Mourinho's first of eight league titles was won at a canter, Porto finishing 11 points clear of Benfica after losing just twice all season. 2006 - Chelsea Having won the Premier League in his first season at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho's Chelsea retained their crown when they beat arch-rivals Manchester United 3-0. 2010 - Inter Milan Mourinho had guided Inter to the Serie A title in his first season, a feat he repeated in his second and final season of a combustible stay at the San Siro which also brought the Champions League crown. 2012 - Real Madrid Ended Real's four-year wait for the La Liga title with an dominating campaign which saw them finish nine points clear of Barcelona. 2015 - Chelsea (Second Spell) Back for a second spell at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho oversaw a virtually untroubled march to the title, which was wrapped up with three games to spare. With the Premier League title race as open ever and teams looking to outspend everyone else to clear a path to glory in a way that has never before been seen, it may well be that this season provides a unique ending. Nonetheless, it will take something remarkable for Jose Mourinho to continue his exceptional second- season record. 4. Romulus Lukaku: For me, he is arguably the best signing Mourinho has made so far (although, other signings are good). Forget about the price they paid to get him. I'm talking about a player that has speed, height and body balance. A player that has proven himself in the Premier League. A Drogba-type of player but the difference is that he has pace than Drogba. He is one of only five forwards in the division's history to have scored 75 goals before the age of 24, with three of the other four having also represented United. He has hit double figures in five consecutive seasons from the age of 18. Mourinho needs a player like him especially after scoring 54 premier League goals in 38 games last season. I believe, if fit, Lukaku will make sure such record doesn’t repeat itself again. 5. No or Less Controversies: De Gea is the only players whose future in shackles due to constant interest from Real Madrid. But after Morata transfer saga ended so did his own ended too. Moreover, Mourinho is keen on keeping the Spanish shot stopper. Unlike Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool whose top players future with them is in doubt. Sanchez is reluctant to sign new deal with Arsenal amid strong interest from PSG, Bayern and lately Manchester City. Diego has been ousted by Conte from Chelsea training ground. He is rumoured to heading to Milan on loan. Coutinho has been touted as a possible replacement for PSG-bound Neymar. Although, Klopp has said he is not for sale. A team needs maximum concentration at all times as unmotivated player can not give his all. LIke Our Page To Read More Article Like This Found it interesting?
