Serves you right. People like you think that all things on earth can be attained through the back door. The year I wrote JAMB, the cut off for my department was 283. Yes you read that right. That was when a score of even 220 would ensure you wrote the exam next year.

A friend of mine scored 253 and his department cutoff was 254. All pleadings to get him admitted failed. He had to rewrite the exam the next year and he scored 302 which enabled him get in.

You students should go home and read. Many of you do not take time to find out more about the exam you are writing. For instance, the UTME employs negative marking. You do not score 0 for a wrong answer. You score -1 for a wrong answer.

I suggest you go back home and read hard for the next exam. If possible, stop using all those social media and throw away all distractions. I wrote JAMB when the only station on TV was NTA (opened by 4.30pm and closed by midnight), and the only form of entertainment was VHS video. Then, we had to wait 7 months to get JAMB result.

NO MOBILE PHONES, NO BBM, NO FACEBOOK, NO TWITTER, NOTHING! ZILCH, NADA! We thought it was suffering, but it has turned out to be a blessing to my generation because we had no distractions.

Throw away all your distractions and read hard for your exam. If I could write JAMB once without any expo, without sorting anybody and without even attending any JAMB preparation classes, you can also do it. I do not have two heads and neither does anyone else who entered university clean and clear.

Please I will like to correct you by emphasizing that JAMB does not employ negative while marking UTME.

It seems that a lot of us on this trend have lost hope or have little or no information on the CBN recruitment exercise. As @ last week , some interviews were conducted. Please we should continue to pass on reliable info to all on this trend. I pray to Almighty God to see us all through this recruitment exercise, amin.

Don't be discouraged with what is happening because my friend got IV for interview this week without knowing anybody, and many have collected their offer letters and they are now at training without knowing anybody in CBN so jst have faith it can still happen.

Any info about when the next batch for the training will be called?

Pls guys any news as regards medicals. I had my interview in March 2013. Things are a little bit quite these days.

Update frm those in training, dat d training wil end dis week and those posted 2 Lagos and Abuja wil resume work on monday nxt week, while others dat were posted 2 other locations were to report 2 thre locations after 2 weeks.

nurexg: More IT list will be out but like I said very few will get without RUNS. Who ever told u that IT is over he lied to you. There will be another list for sure.

@nurexg, any news about those that will be called for interview i.e. those from the 9 states that were encouraged to apply in order to shore up their representation at the CBN (Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Yobe, Zamfara, taraba, Kebbi, Sokoto, Jigawa & FCT). Most of us did the Aptitude late last year. Please when will the CBN start calling for interview? Thanks.

MADAM(DHR)nva gv dem directives to begin dey invite for interview yet... na letters dem dey now n it will com in Batches, Training is @weeks and its done at their training centre in Lagos. BUt the truth b say na * states dem wan recriut from pass (BAyelsea, Ondo, Ebonyi, Zamfara, etc)will get d remaining wen my bro come bk.

@wasiufawol, I received the same email on Thursday at 12.19pm from the same person and I replied immediately because the mail reads (urgent). I think is 4 d interview.

Another week has come. I pray something good comes up b4 it ends. @DrYusuf I think some would be posted to NHIS zonal offices nation while others would be @ the NHIS HQ. It all depends on d position applied for. Till we meet @ NHIS God's willing.
