History,

I have this car for sale, used by wify. Engine shorts oil and smokes lightly when revved very high, gear slips like twice daily. However, a broken timing belt screw caused me to drop the engine to drill another hole. On a second thought, I deemed it unwise mounting back the engine and gearbox without fixing or replacing them. Mechanic offered solutions ranging from ringing to changing fibre, to sensors and ATF. However, the reviews on nairaland shows you prolly would be wasting your money, most importantly my atheist belief would forbid me with such thoughts before I sell.

I opted for a replacement rather, ladipo was contacted and we settled for =N=260k(Engine with pump pls, and gear box)
After giving all the scenarios as second thought, i decided to upgrade wifys car to a Honda spirit since I can make use of my coys car lease. So i decided to sell as it is.

Repair Cost
*Engine with pump and gear box =N=260k
Original Honda oil =N=15k(not sure)
Original gear box oil =N=15k(again not sure)
Workmanship and miscellaneous =N=30k
Old engine and gear box=N=90k
Total amount less cost of old engine =N=220k and you get yourself a great car. Infact in the early days of this car, I've dusted several mercedez and bmw(this aint lie) car is a beast...

NB: Every other gadget works perfectly ok, soundsystem, Ac is superb, Moscow and deep freezer no reach.

However, you will have to replace the power steering rack/seal, been seeing drops of steering oil lately.
Car is my compound, had to tow it away yesterday to avoid pilfering of any sort, the doors were taken to an upholstery as i intended a massive face-lift before selling.

All I can see is pride! pride!! pride!!! Or you were brought up in one of this Christian homes with a brainwashed doctrine that makes you feel suspicious of everyone and anything around you.

Check your pride level, it might have risen above limit..I still see pride in all of this, I am finding it difficult to think of anything else pride keeps coming into my head . people who are filled with pride behaves exactly the way do.
They politely looks down on people with a broad smile that irritates me and I have insulted a lot of people with that character because I hate people with pride.

Only pride can give you the mind to tell your neighbor not to socialise with your family again,.if not pride you would have got excited by such gesture and reciprocate in one way or the other...I pity people around you,I wonder the number of time you must have given them that "who is this one" attitude..

Invest if you see a possibility. Of recent banks make it unattractive to run fixed deposits, so I'm stuck in a rut. Buying shares is also difficult as every broke idiot automatically becomes an expert when I discuss the idea.

Call.. no... SUMMON/ORDER the 2 of them to your office. If either one refuses to come, send them a subtle yet clear message of they don't report to your office within 24hrs, you'll not be held responsible for actions after...
Now when they come, make it very brief and clear to them what is on ground and that you're giving them ***** time to get the funds back or you report them to higher authorities. Tell them clearly you're doing this NOT because you like them nor care for their well being but because of the people that depends on their salaries.Tell them you already made copies of the fraud and have kept it with "certain" people who if amy8 happens to you will escalate it to the management. Then tell them to get out of your office.
Make sure you have a video recording of your meeting with them.
When the set time expires, escalate the damn thing with a proof of your video meeting with them that you were trying to make them pay back the funds after seeing how "sorry" they were for their evil deeds
