It has validity but depending on the country you are using it for. Mostly it is assumed that it expired after 6 months if you still live in the country. Since you got the PCC in Nigeria and you left the shores of the country it is logical to conclude that you have no criminal offence in Nigeria
But you can get another one if need be.

Dear friends,

I obtained a Police Character Certificate (PCC) when I was relocating from Naija last year. On the document is written..."Valid for 3 Months". Now, I need to apply for residency over here and one of the documents required is the PCC. I contacted the police officer who helped me get it and he told me that I do not need another. I told him about the validity clause and he kept insisting that it doesn't expire as I have not returned to the country since I got it.

I am actually in a dilemma, has anyone ever been in this same situation and how did you resolve it? Thanks in advance.
