Insurance still remains a totally untouched portion of the financial sector in Nigeria. Most Nigerians still don't see the point of having an insurance and most still don't even know how it works. As an insurance personnel with AIICO, I can confidently say DAT insurance no only gives protection but its investment benefits is so sweet
I remember seeing where Dangote says banks are legalized thieves cos it is better to get an insurance policy DAT gives u an endowment cover of protection and investment than putting money in the bank. Asides from insurance imbibing savings culture in someone, d ROIs are so sweet, I mean which bank will give u an interest of 40% as ROI on ur annual investment or 12% interest on annual fixed deposit which can be collected INSTANTLY?
