Have run the numbers; they look good, especially for dogs that can also serve as "security personnel". Also have the space available at my home to start up a small kennel for dogs. Just one snag: I'm scared of dogs myself! Also not helped by scary tales I've heard about security dogs that have gone wild and turned on their owners, even after years of training. What do you think? Should I go for it? If you've overcome this fear to start your own dog business, please share the tips that helped you. Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks |

Thanks for starting this thread Just want to encourage anyone using the Quora platform to keep sharing their content In my experience, I just started to discover how useful Quora can be. Especially when it comes to getting your voice heard Even though I opened my account around 2012, it was only last year (2024) that it occurred to me to start posting there. Especially when I noticed I had 12 followers. As I type this, the stats are gradually picking up. I have 29 answers, 1500+ views, and 6 upvotes. And 1100 views were generated this month alone. (March 2025) All this without asking any family members or friends to visit my answers. (Doubt if any of them even knows I'm on that platform sef). Also I didn't engage with all those scammers who sell upvotes. Sure, growing an audience on Quora takes time and effort. You also won't get rich quick by being on Quora. But if you want to start getting yourself more global visibility without needing to be on YouTube or Instagram, you'll definitely love Quora. Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions. |

Chilipepper: Is this really a proposal or just a harmless joke? No details on the context. Was this from a random bike man or one she has known for some time? Any way, let's hope she doesn't appeal to the UN... 1 Like |

fergie001: Thanks for sharing Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the maximum suspension period supposed to be 14 days? Look at this old case involving Omo-Agege: The judge held that while the National Assembly had the power to discipline its erring members, the reasons given by the Senate for Omo-Agageâs suspension was unconstitutional, adding that a legislator could not be suspended for more than 14 days. Stepout23: Thanks for starting this topic. Didnât know what to think at first when I saw the headline. How could the startup close after raising $3.5m in seed funding? But then again, there could be more to the story than we know. The Edukoya team deserves some accolades for their vision and effort. Theyâve even promised to refund investors. With that said, maybe we can all learn a few lessons from their story. While funding definitely has its place, product-market fit and timing are other factors that can determine the success of a venture. After onboarding the 80,000 students, what exactly was the revenue model? Was it a freemium model? Was there a clear path to profitability or were people reluctant to upgrade, preferring to stay on free forever? Once again, bravo to the Edukoya team for being bold enough to pursue their vision. Letâs hope we can build on their lessons learned and create sustainable education solutions for the next generation. Thanks again for sharing this. Hope more people contribute on this thread so we can all learn & grow together |

Botwriter: Love what you did there; using AI to respond to this topic. By the way, this issue came up on our WhatsApp group recently. Always an interesting discussion. AI is a helpful productivity tool. For instance, a calculator can help me solve math problems. But it can never replace my ability to think. Yes, AI tools can help us research and generate more content faster. BUT it still needs a human in the loop to prompt it and even review the final output. AI doesn't run on its own Hope that helps. Love to hear more on this topic. |

Thanks for starting this topic One of the best ways to raise money when youâre broke is to start by finding creative ways to use what you already have. You donât always need cash to create value, You can start by listing your skills. Your assets. Your contacts. What can you offer as a service? Are you good at SEO or graphic design? Do you have any excess items that you can either sell or rent out? Is there anyone you know who can provide value to someone else - while you make the connection? Letâs say youâre good at writing. Can you offer content creation services to small businesses and get paid a fee? If someone needs help with a project, can you suggest a partnership where you both win? In summary, it all starts by taking a different look at what you already have. Cash isnât the only valuable currency. Your skills, time and relationships are also valuable Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions because Iâm always trying to learn more and get better as well. |

AmazingGenius: This guy should be commended It takes courage to stand for the right path Look at how he handled his own elder brother and the auction A lot of times we blame public officials for corruption, not knowing the subtle sinister forces working behind the scenes And they never show up when stuff hits the fan. Everyone is left to bear his own cross... 22 Likes 2 Shares |
