It’s a dicey situation. I was in a similar situation in the past .

There’s a whole town in Kano called Sabon Gari and I’m not exaggerating when I say 95% of the properties there are owned by Igbos. Step into that place and you’d think you just entered Aba or Onitsha. That’s how dominant and established the Igbo presence is in the North.
And it’s not just Kano. Go to Kaduna in Sabon Tasha, Jos’ Ahmadu Bello Way or parts of Bauchi and Minna you’ll find entire business districts owne and driven by Igbo enterprise.
Even in Sokoto, Maiduguri and Yola, you’ll find Igbo businesses, spare part markets, hotels, electronics shops flourishing.

So this lame narrative about Igbos not being able to "do this in the North" is nonsense.
They’ve done it, they’re doing it and they’ll keep doing it. Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians irrespective of state of origin
