wow! nice one. At some point it sounded like straight from the studio. You've got a great voice and you just have little to do to make it better. You've got a great future ahead of you, keep it up.

Thanks bro

Fawklicant:
Nice one. Good voice. You got something in you, with hardwork and perseverance you'll get there. Few tips.

Work on your breath control.

That part of 'omo you get mind o' should have been stressed a bit longer or if professionally mixed, reverbed a bit and faded.

Cut out the 'real nigga' part. Its a misnomer in the way it is used onthe song plus it is off rhyme/tune. I know you want that part of the message to portray you as some loverboy who is also a badazz, but 'Real man' would do.

A song like yours requires fewer words. Its a narrative on a go-easy beat, let the message sink in with yoir audience. When you get to do it professionally, the song should have a bridge somewhere after the 2nd verse so the audience can digest the message and to prepare the audience for the concluding part of the song.

In all, try to create a niche for yourself. If you featured say Korede Bello on this track, one would hardly differentiate between voices/patterns. You gotta have a signature. Sound, pattern, voice, the whole 9yards.

You are good Son! Work more and don't entertain any fear/discouragement.

Thank you sir, will do

Family / “I bleeped For Iphone 6 Not Indomie” – Lady Brags On Facebook by Westlife2013(m): 11:20am On Dec 04, 2017
A social media user identified as Harriette Danso took a swipe at all the girls who sleep with boys and only get noodles in return.

The young girl who is likely not up to 20 yrs posted on Facebook that, she indeed had sex for an iPhone 6.

Her post received lots of backlash from people and someone had to call the attention of her brother about her post, which make her to delete the post.

She ain’t the first girl to agree to have sex with a stranger just to get an iPhone or something else but to have the guts to come and disclose it on Facebook, that’s just crazy.

Music/Radio / The Power Of Cover Songs (upcoming Artists This Is For You) by Westlife2013(m): 7:22pm On Aug 16, 2017
First I want to correct an impression. I dont believe in the term 'upcoming artist' its either you are an artist or not, shikena!!! Instead of using the word upcoming, I wud rather use the word 'underground' or 'unknown' or 'indie' which is a short form of 'independent'.

As an unknown artist in Nigeria, it is almost impossible to be noticed if you don't have connections or cash to promote yourself and this can be very discouraging most times. A lot of artists with potentials have quit music due to these challenges.

But I am here to tell you that there is a better and less difficult way to get more new fans and skyrocket your chance of being noticed in the music industry. Yes, it isn't new, its being happening even from the 80s till our time. That shortcut to fame is COVER SONGS.

What is a cover song? A cover song is a rerecorded version of a popular or non popular music. For example 'I have a dream' by Westlife was actually a cover song. It was originally sang by ABBA. Forever young by JayZ was also a cover song and lots more.
Please note that this doesn't say that you should stop recording your own songs. You should have your own songs, which is more like your CV. But record cover songs and promote it on social media will do you and your own songs a lot good.
Why record cover songs? Cover songs will give you new and more fanbase that will then want to hear your own songs.

HOW COME?
You may ask. For example you are doing a song by TUFACE, let's say 'African Queen' you are indirectly showcasing yourself to fans of Tuface. People would be curious to hear you out. Imagine you being a fan of Tuface and you are scrolling through Facebook then came across a post 'New Music: Smashy - My Lady' and the next post 'Music: Tuface - African Queen (Cover by Smashy)' I can boldly say that majority would go for the second post because it is a popular song so people would want to hear this new version hereby giving you new audience but mind you, this doesn't mean the first post is useless. Trust me, you need to do a cover song far more better than the original, it is allowed to change the style and do your own style and once you murder a cover song people will love you and ask or look for your own single to download too. A recent example is DESTINY BOY, who did a cover of davido's 'If'.

Never doubt the power of cover songs, make sure its a trending or popular song and people will be more interested. Get a Facebook fanpage for yourself. while promoting a cover song make sure your official single is pinned at the top of your page. Never let anyone discourage you, most people close to you will say your are promoting another mans job, do your own job, please do not listen to them, yes you are actually promoting another mans job while holding that mans hand and promoting both of you. If you are standing far away frm tuface in a gathering people will focus on the celeb and none will notice or even see you but if you are standing with tuface and holding his hand people will see both of you and wanna know what your relationship is with tuface that is how a cover song works.

Check out a nairalander who did a cover of RunTown's Mad Over You and within a week, he got 26k plus views on facebook
and still counting.

Investment / Ever Thought Of Investing In Music? by Westlife2013(m): 11:34am On Apr 24, 2017
A lot of us do believe that becoming a music or entertainment investor you have to be a record label or a politician, I am here to tell you that you are wrong.
Music as we all know is among the top three high paying jobs in Nigeria and the world at large. Anybody can invest in music or even in an artist. And you will become a millionaire within months.

Even if you can't sing you can invest in someone who you believe is super talented, its just like you employing someone to work for you and grow your business.

Would you like to invest? You need to check this promising artist out:

obinnho10:
please note, I am not broke or stingy (put this in mind before advicing)
I have been dating my girl for 18 months now. I love her a lot would love to settle down with her. My only problem is we have different ideas of what a marriage ceremony should look like.
I would like the attendance of my wedding to be the family and close friends of the bride and groom. With God's blessings, a think a marriage is set to last the test of time.
wifey on the other side adores stuff like pre wedding photoshots on Lindaikeji, bellanaija, dailytrust paper, Nairaland, and also attendance of classmates from nursery school to university to church to workplace and even strangers who she believes also brightens up a wedding ceremony. She once told me a 21st century Nigerian marriage not put up on Lindaikeji and Nairaland is ill prepared.
I dont hate people, i am just sensivity on marriage and child naming ceremony and feel attendance should be only for people who truly harbour good will for us and our future together.
Pls i need nairaland advice on how to tell her I will not have a photoshot for lindaikeji and also attendance of random strangers on our wedding day. I will not in any way compromise on this.
Also note. I dont want to lose wifey. Advice with sense will be appreciated.
Whatever you guys decide do not forget that life after the wedding day is the main koko. make una save money o. If you wedding is holding in Lagos I won't mind to come perform for you musically, and for free. Hit me up on WHATSAPP: 08067492989
