Hi popizaino hru today ? do you mean 60,000 CFA to 300,000 CFA ? popizaino: Studio apartment the one we refer to as self contains ranges in prices depending on the kind of house. The least you can get goes for 60cfa, while it goes up to even 300cfa per month. |

Hi popizaino thanks for this input . Hope you are having a fun weekend ? ,please do you have an idea how much it cost to get an apartment in any of these areas (rivera ,deux plateau ) ? I want a self contain in any of those areas .. The French live a wild lifestyle thus the influence on some Ivorians (those areas where people live like non Africans lol ) popizaino: Assinie is a suburb of Abidjan it is not within the metropolis and about your kind of area, Rivera palmeras, deux plateau will be your best bet. The people there live as if they are not Africans.i can tell you colonial did a number on them Their lifestyle was at first a cultural shock to a typical blackman like me but as times went by I got use to it. |

Thanks so much rough diamond..How are you today ? so are those the only areas I can get houses with my budget because I would love an environment with less Nigerians ,I lived in South Africa for a couple of years and I know the types of atrocities Nigerians commit outside of their country.. I have read and heard about places like Deux Plateax,Angres ,Asinine etc i would like to live in an highbrow area and honestly I thought my 50k budget will get me a student type of self contain in Abidjan considering the volume of information I have digested online lol ... Will upping my budget to 70k naira per month (100,000 cefas ) get me a student self contain in those places I mentioned above ? , i just want to be in a sane, calm and cool environment that will offer me the sanity I need for my freelance job .. I want to be in a place where everyone minds their business with an ambience suitable for raising a a 5 years old boy that was given birth in the United Kingdom but will relocate with me ,thank you so much ... roughdiamond: With 50k Naira per month, you can get houses within Marcory, Koumassi, Yopougon Port Bouet, Some parts of Cocody Etc. I will advise you choose between Yopougon and Koumassi as life is Cheaper there (Though most parts of Koumassi are very dirty and smells but the current mayor is putting everything in order now) Starting with Koumassi Ramblais won't be bad as a lot Nigerians are there |

Thanks in anticipation for your reply cheers .. Ugosample: well to be very honest with you
500 grand will cover some ground but not enough grounds
because most times initial rent here is six months (at least that was my case) and we have not spoken of trans (this will cost you at least 30k plus, being your first time)
subtraction accommodation and transport Will decimate this amount
I'm not discouraging you tho
some people come with such amount and then rough it out but it's gonna be very very tough
because this place can be unforgiving if you don't know someone here to say accommodate you
what you can do is to try to increase your capital
what you are doing keep doing it
when it has reached a reasonable amount
You divide the money in two keep one half in an interest bearing mutual funds account
then come slug it out in CIV with the second half of it.
So worst come to worst you still have something back to fall on in naija.
what business can you really do? You will need to develop yourself and learn some French too.
all the best |

Pesuzok: I dont know how much they sell the cars you want to buy.
Why not buy one 2003 corolla and register under uber since you are willing to drive Yes i also thought about getting a car and registering under uber as a driver ,but so many thoughts keeps running around in my head after i found out uber sometimes blacklist drivers for the slightest of reasons/excuses which automatically ports the drivers back to square zero .. I am still carrying out a SWOT analysis on registering with uber and other outfits like it ,cos it seems less stressful compared to the taxi thing. |

I am still trying to get around abuja so I can get accustomed to the various routes i will decide to play cos i just moved from Ilorin to Abuja last year December.. I have always thought about starting the taxi business for a while when i was in Kwara but was very skeptical about venturing into that kinda biz in Kwara Ilorin precisely cos Ilorin does not present the same market for the transport biz as it is here in Abuja .. |

jaychubi: D only way to control d driver is if u are starting a transport company like peace mass and there is ticket system. Else give them on hire purchase n have a contract with them. this style of paying them salary will mess u up if u dnt have ticket system.
Start with one car and drive it to test d market first Wow please what’s a ticket system ? I would love to get a first hand analysis/information from you on here, thanks so much . |

Good morning nlders,I have had a keen interest in venturing into the transport biz for a very long time especially in Abuja..But from reading and researching about that line of biz/investment ,i came to the conclusion that the major factor that can either make or mar you are your drivers except ,if you would be the one driving your vehicle yourself which i am considering but i do have plans of purcashing 2 solid Cars for this venture and no one can be in 2 places at a time .. So i am thinking of basing my driver on a salary + other incentives, which of course proper analysis would be carried out before agreeing on a round figure ,note :i am not talking huge figures here regarding the incentives just a little thing then and now to motivate the driver to get the job @ hand done efficiently.. No hiring of married men as well cos of their financial responsibilities,i would definitely handle servicing, repairs etc ,and i have a solution on ground to curb any sort of relationship btw driver-mechanic but right now i need more ideas/opinion to checkmate & control this drivers cos they seem to be the threat/weakness in the transport game for all vehicle owners !!! Thanks for your contribution i await positive comments from enlightened folks in the game cheers . |
Romance › Re: Finding The Right Woman When You Are Broke Is A Romantic Scam by Whatarewehere4: 1:16pm On Nov 12, 2017 |
best comment ever !!! alexialin: Guys didn't make women love money. It's unfortunate life and economy way back in the 90s is totally different from today.
Today the economy is hard and harsh. Alot of people are panicking when it comes to finance, both male and females. And some women and men are not thinking straight on the decisions they are making and dishing out because of the bleak situation happening in Nigeria. Anyways all I can say, is be sure of whom you give your trust and heart to.
It applies to both male and female.
When I was a very young graduate looking for a job and broke, guys didn't want to even come close, even though I was sleek, slim and pretty . But I wasn't complaining 24/7 like the ways broke guys are complaining these days. I simply took it in my stride, toghtened my belt and focus on making it. Cause I know when I make it, I will marry the kind of man have always dreamt of. Which is fact. There are other ways of testing your gf or bf even when u are comfortable.
*You can claim to be broke or God can help you and make you broke again* to see if this person around you, truly Loves you and can stick with u thru thick and thin. During that broke state, see and watch if your partner will still be all lovey and supportive.
I always say, we can know if our partner truly love us if we are watchful of what they say and events around us. It's not hard to know no matter how smart they may think they are. One day, they must slip, if it's all a act.
Na so I see am o. |
Travel › Re: Lies Of Nigerians Living In America by Whatarewehere4: 4:43pm On Oct 29, 2017 |
This is deep ☹️ Jencejyde: Hmmm. First and foremost I'm proud to be Nigerian but not happy with the way Nigeria is. The argument has two sides but let me share this. I once met a lady on a flight from us to Dubai and we had a long interesting conversation. Guess what ? She is Egyptian by birth but now American after living there for close to 30 years and she said something that forever will strike me. She said she will always be an Egyptian by heart and soul but her allegiance will forever be American simply because there is RULE OF LAW.
Having looked at the arguments here one thing I can say is that until there is the rule of law operating as it should. There is no way a Nigerian is living a better life than the American. No matter whether he his hustling or doing menial jobs. I won't start a whole new debate on this but truly this is deep and life constitutes equality and justice most importantly amongst other things which we sadly do not have here and honestly will take a miracle to happen soonest. I'll just leave it here like this. |
