Iam living in a house where tenants are being oppressed and sheated.
if a tenant complain of being sheated, the care taker or landlord will give the tenant quit notice.
We have 3 prepaid meter in my compound , each of the prepaid meter is connected to each flat.
The pumping machine in my compound is connected to my flat .
Last time we had a meeting with our landlord concerning that ,the landlord suggested that each person per a flat will have to contribute #400 to us living in the flat that is connected to the pumping machine so that we can use the money to recharge our prepaid meter and pump water for everyone living inside the compound.
All the tenants agreed to it.
We have been doing this since last here without issue.

It baffled me last week , the landlord is asking us for the #400 naira that have been contributed by us for pumping water..
What can we do as regard to this?
Please I need a quick answer to this.
And he said if we don't comply he will give us quit notice.
