HOW TO REGISTER AN ENTERPRISE IN NIGERIA
After deciding what form of business name you would like to register, the following are details to be used on your CAC Portal.

STEP 1 – Name Search CAC
Two businesses cannot carry on business with the same name. The process of confirming that your proposed name is not being used is called a public search and can easily be done on the CAC official website. This is the first step in the registration of Business Name.

STEP 2 – Availability Check and Reservation of Name
After the public search, you must apply for a confirmation and approval by CAC that the name is not being used. This is called availability check and reservation of name, you are expected to submit two proposed names to the CAC, and make the required payment. If approved, go ahead with registration.

STEP 3 – Input Details
The Statutory form for registration of Business Name requires certain particulars to be provided, accompanied by a number of documents. They are as follows: –

a. approved name;
b. general nature of the business;
c. full address of the principal place of business and every other subsidiary place of business;
d. proposed date of commencement of the business;
e. passport size photographs of the owners; and
g. Proficiency certificate (If required).
h. Once everything looks good, go ahead and make payment, printout the documentation, attach relevant passport photographs and sign.

Step 4 – Document Upload CAC
The Application form for the registration of Business Name and other relevant documents must be uploaded. After spending many years abroad she decided to inspect her building because based on her calculation the building ought to be finished. Lo and behold this guy not only barred her from entering, he fixed all documents of the house in his own name. I mean from the land, to all reciepts of building materials used were in his name. Frustrated she dragged him to court. This case has been in court for many years. Each time there is a court case this poor lady leaves America, pays her flight ticket plus other expenses. Sometimes she needs to appear several times a year. Just imagine the waste of money. There is still no headway till now. Our judiciary system of court adjournments makes things even worse. But the frightening part is her nephew stood on the podium looked her in the eye and said she never sent him any money

Advise her to execute a Power of Attorney in favor of someone in Nigeria to prosecute the action on her behalf. This will mitigate her expenses and costs of traveling every time to Nigeria.

Specuit Cargo, not Specuit..Noted

Apologies am replying really late, been busy.
Have read your response and I think the Specuit policy is extreme; I wrong Specuit or Specuit wrongs me, I pay more. Here is why:
1. If a customer doesn't pick up after three days, he pays fines. I had my tab delayed for 6 weeks, no compensation.
2. A direct consequence of that delay is that I cannot open dispute on a tab that does not meet specifications (WiFi only, not 3G enabled). So I suffer a permanent loss for Specuit's error, for which no compensation has been offered.
3. To explore the last option of remedy for the hardware defect in power button, I have to courier it down to Lagos, and STILL pay Specuit for freight to the USA office so it can be sorted out? And the probability I will get a pad that fits specifications is zilch I.e 3G enabled! How many jeopardizes wull I suffer?
If you were in my shoes, will you count this fair?

The pad's power button is defaultive, consequently the pad DOES NOT stay on. Its not a software problem as such, the pad's power button is. A pad that stays dead serves no purpose. Its just like I have waited so long to discover I have burnt a huge sum.
Also, if am unable to remedy this and the SIM issue, it is a direct consequence of the delay I had no fault in causing. It is a price too big for me to pay. What do I do with a dead pad?

The tab was received today, however it was not delivered to the address. My proxy had to travel to go get it, the courier staff claimed thats the agreement they made.
However, what is of more pressing importance is the tab itself. In fact, as at when I am typing this, all attempts to power it up has failed. It just starts booting, then goes off almost immediately. Also, the power button seems to have some issue.
How do I proceed?
