Anambra State University's name was today officially approved to be changed to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The legislative approval was done after the state legislature passed a bill that provided for the amendment of the state owned university's establishment law in order to effect the change of it's name as an honour to the late Biafran war lord Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (Ikemba Nnewi).With this development, the university's slogan will now be COOU instead of ANSU.

Admission Clearance problems for Unilorin Freshers
If you've been experiencing problems with your admission clearance, please read the following solutions.....

1. Where to upload State of Origin Uploading of State of Origin is required for indigenes of Kwara State majorly. If you do not see a space for uploading this document on your own portal, please do not panic. Especially if you're not from Kwara State. if you need to provide the document, you will be notified.

2. Not Cleared.If you've uploaded your documents and you have not been cleared, it may mean that either your results do not meet the requirement of the department chosen or the course given Or maybe your Subject combination in Jamb is not right for the course given to you. Either of this case means you will be moved to another department where such will fit in to. However, if it is due to incomplete result which is not yet available, you might forfeit the admission niyen o. You can visit the Department of choice to confirm why or visit COMSIT. You will be directed when you get to the Campus.

3. When is the Clearance closing?Please make sure you register before the closing date for acceptance which is 27th September, 2014.

4. When will the second list be released?It will soon be released, do not worry yourself. You will be notified

It is conspicously evident to any homo sapiens that you are either a computer genius/guru or something very akin to that. Your enviable mastery of the language and your programming write-up I read is neither inane nor brosque but very factual and expository.
I'm not really an ardent disciple of ur field but am concerned with the relevence of this jet-age computer ingenuity to the health sector particularly in Medicine. I attended intensive programming classes for some months but what always nagged at my subconscious was the way this vast knowledge could affect the medical world constructively.
Though in advanced countries, computer programming has made surgery an austere and less machiavellian task through CT(computer tomography) scan, MRI(magnetic Resonance Imagery) which projects 3D images of the area in question to mention but a few. BUT i envision a world where computers perform almost every surgery however mundane, that seem colossally impossible to man. I dream of a time when computer programmers/literates are heavily needed in all spheres of life, Where professionals and specialist who lack pragmatic computer and ICT knowledge are guillotined and replaced with super- precise, time-saving and cost-reduced computerised machines managed by qualified personnels.
I've got a lot to say but I guess i have to maintain brevity since some might see this whole thing as mumbo-jumbo. Sincerely,I would like to meet with you.
