Naija and the wrong use of the word "molest". That wasn't molestation, it was physical and verbal abuse.

The pastor should cut all the middle men who will feed fat on this and find people who really care about the girl and get her some life boosting help cos what he did to her in the presence of thousands can ruin her self esteem.

Good!

Jesus never abuse innocent girls.

He should be banned from opening schools everywhere. He just can't take advantage of poor girls who probably have no one to fight for them.

It changes nothing. Being a mother is much more than giving birth but raising the child, always there physically, emotionally and giving the child the world.

I hate the way our societies frown at adoption forgetting that every child needs a home.

Yoruba know how much Jonathan hate them. Yoruba don't see anything Jonathan has done in the SW. Jonathan snubbed Yoruba in his cabinet. Jonathan clearly does not hide his disgust for Yoruba. He opened up the border for Ebola to come to Lagos thinking it will kill Yoruba alone in his dumb mind, and has since refused to help Lagos fight the dangerous disease. He instructs all ebola patients must be brought to Lagos and kept among the general population in LUTH and UCH in IB. He keeps bringing problems to Lagos and turn his back. He uses SW as dump site and Lab rats without help to fight or combat the problems. All we need to do is compile his atrocious deals with Yoruba since he's been in office and spread it.

No other president in our history has disrespected Yoruba this much.

Those in support of this should be gutted, stuffed and used in place of sand bags for ocean surge. This is the worst thing to happen to Nigeria, even worse than bokoharam.

Tunde Bakery prophesied that Jonathan will destroy Nigeria, and it's happening.

The topic is misleading. It should have been ibos with beautiful eyes. I see you shoved one Yoruba in there to cover your tribalistic arsse but, sorry not buying it. There are better looking eyes in Nigeria than those on this list.

Now, I know why we will never have an ibo president in Nigeria, the ibo president won't be able to find "good and competent" people outside his tribe to fill the cabinet.

Sahara reporters wrote something about the SARS Ikeja in 2013, and nothing was done about it. The only solution is to have state police.

Right! But not far enough. You mean the CP sits in the office to answer about 50 phone calls like this daily? I don't think so! You are just helping with image making. Why can't the police be given training to not do business this way instead of one CP turned receptionist wasting his time and others on what could be stopped.
Rich4god: Its high time we start taking actions and not just opening a thread on NL and forget about it after some comments. OP, go to the police website, you will see all the numbers of police heads, pick the one closer to the venue of incident and test him what happened with all your evidence. Try and follow up and you will see that action will be taken... I will advise you use a second phone line that is mostly dormant. For me, I have on a number of occassion freed my guys from police custody after they were unjustly arrested without paying anything. Even on one occassion, me and my cousin, were extorted of 3k by policemen in a check point, there and then, we placed a call to the CP of the state explaining to him what happened and the vehicle number involved as we were moving, he called us back and asked us to go and collect our money like play like play, my cousin summoned courage, drove back and collected the money... I was scared to hell before i go hear accidental discharge. But it worked, they CP made sure that those guys didnt set up road block any more as within 2mnths of me passing there, I didnt see them. Just go to NPF website and copy the number closer to your place and make the call. Kets bring back some sanity to the NPF...

Ibos have burnt the bridges with the Yoruba and thumped their noses at us. Ibos have killed northern leaders again. We remember how it ended the first time. Ibos should start moving back home now and mount Ogbunigwe, before the stories that touch hearts.

You've said it all!
soroptimist:

That is why those who said PDP/GEJ knows about what is happening may not be far from the truth

Kabiru Sokoto has almost turned the SSS detention facility into his palace yet no word about whoever he has named......

We have read of soldiers complaining about their parlous conditions and deliberate act of weakening their capacity to battle these insurgents with bullets being rationed for them and archaic Ogbunigwe-like armoured tanks being given to them to face an obviously well trained BH fighters despite the fact that more than 2 trillion Naira have been expended on Defence budget since GEJ got into power yet you say we should nt question what then they are spending the money for

Now they are even trying to use the gravity of the whole situation to bambozzle the National Assembly to assent to the loan of 1 Billion Dollars......Diaris Godduuuu ooooo

The military have consistently lied and preferred to engage in media chest beating about the true situation of things when the opposite is almost the real reason.......They lied they have rescued the girls after the Presidency itself said the kidnap was a scam for about 1month,a situation which made even OBJ to lob a salvo at GEJ for being clueless and in denial that the girls were ever missing.......was it not to give the kidnappers ample time to have taken the girls so far away from ever being found?

A government which first said no girls were missing,a position which their aberrant laptop crew almost deafen our ears with on the inetrnet and here on NL, yet secretly commissioned the Australian Negotiator to help facilate their release even flying him in a Presidency sanction military craft

A PDP/GEJ Government in all of these told us they know the sponsors of BH including those in their government yet refuses to arrest and prosecute them

All these inconsistencies and flaggrant cluelessness in articulating a concise solution to this menace will leave no one in doubt as to the culpability of PDP/GEJ Government about BH through their actions or inactions
Politics / Re: El-Rufai Is Boko Haram’s Executive Commander – Ihejirika by whitecat007: 2:44am On Aug 29, 2014
You that are grateful for corruption should go and be celebrating for crumbs in your neck of the wood when you have your biafra or your state allocation is swallowed by your greedy politicians, and not that of the federation account.
You are happy corrupt individuals are walking free and celebrated. While you celebrate evil, some of us will continue to speak against it and call you out on it.
Sincere9gerian: So many ungrateful elements in this country. In sane societies, people like Ihejirika are celebrated. But not so in countries whose citizens pull in different directions like Nigeria.

How can we succeed at anything when there is no unity of purpose?

Meanwhile, now we know that efforts to procure more modern military hardware at the early stage of this war on Boko Haram was frustrated by Boko Haram sympathisers in govt. In the last 3 to 4 years, key security positions like minister of defense, national security adviser, etc have been in the hands of core northerners. What has been the contribution of these key security chiefs to the war against Boko Haram?

Shut up eediott! You are busted now so, it's too late to take el-rufai or anyone down with you. Keep your rusted and corrupt head indoor and enjoy your 48B Naira loot in pieces, Ole!

You have done enough damage by not doing anything to stop bokoharam, and maybe there is more to the allegations against you cos, I believe you aided bokoharam so that you could make money as the army boss then, typical! and the blood of innocents shed in this war will not let you have peace. Fingers are pointing at you now and it's just too late to point anywhere else. You are a thiefing, undisciplined and corrupt ragtag soldier. Shame on you.

Health / Re: Two Cases Of Ebola Confirmed In Port Harcourt by whitecat007: 1:57pm On Aug 28, 2014
What about when a Lagos govt came out to report 5 new cases, only for the health minister to say it wasn't true. The same played in PH, when Sahara reported it first he denied it, only to bow to pressure and admit it's true.

The Mimister of health is playing politics and too incompetent for this job.

Many people didn't see how dangerous it is when a Health Minister did not only allow Ebola to enter Nigeria but, also sitting on the money meant for treatment while Lagos govt is battling it alone with no kobo from Fg. Who knows how many cases are covered up in the region to make it Lagos and Fashola's problem alone. I see everything blowing up on his incompetent face soon.
Enoquin: Not to hold brief for the Health Minister but he only reports what he has been told. If no hospitals report to the state health minister who in turn would report to the Federal health minister, no health minister would be able to give any information. Information has to be verified before being reported so as not to create panic.

I hope RSG contains it
