PoliticsRe: Barcanista & TANoids Missed IT by whitecat1: 3:57pm On Jun 10, 2015
Haha! And the SW knowing this will give them a better offer(don't ask me what) and see who bleeds first. Your region is a learner especially now that Saraki has opened the gate of treachery, no one would accuse Yoruba of playing dirty or betrayal then, You celebrated Saraki now and you must celebrate us when we unleash the grand daddy of all politics!

Killing yourselves to spite the SW can be counterproductive and 2 can play the game!

basilo101:
SE will gladly surrender PDP to them and get a VP slot to payback SW. Let d south keep being second to north since they started it to spite igbos.

You don't make sense.
PoliticsRe: Hear What The Constitution Says On Elections Of Nass Leaders by whitecat1: 6:57am On Jun 10, 2015
This makes sense!

Let see how some lawyers can poke holes in the sham of an "election" and pull the seat right from under Saraki!
Rawani:
Another point worthy of note is that only the Senators that were present were actually inaugurated, effectively disenfranchising the rest of the senator-elects, as such there was actually no quorum in the first place.

Assuming they were all inaugurated, then the 1/3 rule would hold, but as only a handful were inaugurated, the remaining disenfranchised senator-elects have a strong case as there was no quorum. You cannot form a quorum with legislators that have not been sworn in.

Barbie boy, you are talking sshhitt again!

Billyonaire:
So you actually expected the Daura President to remain president till 2019? By fighting tooth and nail Tin Ubuntu actually planned to put his men as senate president and speaker so he can have the dullard impeached for him to become defacto president. PDP actually outsmarted him. Go and buy handkerchief ....more tears.
PoliticsRe: Barcanista Was Right After All.......Tinubu See Your Life by whitecat1: 4:44am On Jun 10, 2015
Why was the meeting called by Buhari when he knew this could happen? Please don't tell me he didn't know.

Oh! I know Buhari will be sitting on nails no doubt, but the fact that something this big was carried behind a huge partner like Tinubu is a big deal! Saraki is going to pay for it. And Jagaban has also learnt a lot from this.
dayo23:
Buhari did not throw Tinubu under the bus, Lawan was even from the core north, bukola saraki is more or less a yoruba. Buhari been a man of his word don't want to interfere with NASS, I think if there is anyone who could be messed up in these his the President himself because Bukola saraki I know is not to be trusted at all, impeachment and all. I pray things goes well for the betterment of our country. Tinubu did try his best but a one man effort couldn't do it. PDP has 51 member don't forget
PoliticsRe: 2015 General & NASS Elections: Congratulations To The Yoruba Ethnic Group! by whitecat1: 4:37am On Jun 10, 2015
Let me leave you with this too, My great great grandmother was a daughter of a freed slave from the US and it doesn't take anything away from my Yorubaness!

Ilorin are called "MESU JAMBA" because they claim whichever part that is good at any moment!

nonaira:
I'm going to leave you with this. The guy in question OWN words.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Divide by whitecat1: 4:29am On Jun 10, 2015
And your brave tribe has to wait on this "timid" group to be set free? See your fish brain at work! grin grin

Dollyak:
Except (we) yorubas also need to demand for freedom or true federalism. We yorubas has to be the most timid group in Nigeria, as we tend to sit on the fence. It doesn't take a genius to know the system is not working and something needs to be done. If the calls for federalism are not honoured then we might be better off being alone.
PoliticsRe: Is Buhari Responsible For The Outcome Of The Nat. Assembly Leadership Election? by whitecat1: 1:44am On Jun 10, 2015
Absolutely!!!
Buhari has his hands in it! only the gullible will think otherwise!

If the pressure to get Tinubu of his back caused it or he just wanted to thump his nose at him, he will still bear the brunt as he will only have himself to blame if he doesn't perform, case closed!

When an experienced and seasoned general chose to sit around landmines laden Hor and senate huh

Oniya loma gbetan! grin grin
PoliticsRe: 2019 General Elections Kick Off, Is PMB A 'learner'? by whitecat1:
On point!
How is Buhari going to get anything done through these houses?
It's almost as if pdp still controls both houses now. Apc members are going to be a rubber stamp.

Tinubu from now on should just sit back and watch things from a good distance if he really did this for Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: 2015 General & NASS Elections: Congratulations To The Yoruba Ethnic Group! by whitecat1: 1:03am On Jun 10, 2015
You mean they shouldn't say he did something wrong because he's Yoruba? It doesn't work like that! We say it as it is! When will you AJOKUTAMAMOMI start spending as much time as you spend on hating Yoruba on loving and taking care of yourselves politically? Killing yourselves to spite Yoruba! grin

The Sarakis have always been Yoruba and nothing can change that.

nonaira:
Oh this is just so sad. A family said they are not Yoruba but Fulani and in order to console themselves, Yoruba are claiming it's because of "politics" grin grin grin You people didn't remember his "politics" claiming when you were insulting him few days ago. You didn't remember his "politics" claiming when you were all against him and supporting a well verified yoruba. After he won, instantly his "fulani" ancestry his father claimed is all "politics"
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
So pathetic and sad.

PoliticsRe: Saraki And Ekweremadu Senate Leadership - Buhari's Handwriting On The Wall by whitecat1:
I have said this on another thread, Buhari planned this out to say "THANK YOU" to Tinubu the best way he knows how, for the merger grin and Atiku got along as a northerner and to pay Tinubu back for supporting Buhari against him as the presidential candidate.

Tribal politics is Back and better, Yoruba need to jump on the band wagon!

Stoical:
cheesy grin cheesy grin cheesy grin cheesy
Let's take a closer look at these events and probably answer these pertinent questions...
Qtn 1: Who's choice was Lawan?(Tinubu or ...)
Qtn 2: Does Buhari feel very comfortable with those backing Lawan?
Qtn 3: Between the NE and NC, who has more political weight and backers? Note: Atiku factor has not yet been discussed...
Qtn 4: Does The former political godfathers still have a say in our politics? (OBJ, Atiku, Babangida...and the likes)
Lastly: How sure are we that "the meeting called by PMB at the time the National Assembly was supposed to be inaugurated was not planned? And how do we explain the fact that, PMB had earlier sent a letter, authorising the Inauguration of the 8th Assembly by the Clerk of the house?

Really, to clear the air... The house does elects its leader by simple majority (108 - 51 = 57)... So, they acted under the law.
To unseat the SP, they need 2/3 majority...

Wow! Buhari said, "I'll work with anybody, setting a precedence that he ain't supporting anyone, yet a "meeting" was called at the exact time where the house was to be inaugurated...(please, decipher this, my good friends)
PoliticsRe: Barcanista Was Right After All.......Tinubu See Your Life by whitecat1: 7:06pm On Jun 09, 2015
I guess Tinubu had more lessons to learn about Nigeria but he can rest knowing he has done a great job of rescuing power from 16 years of pdp misrule.

Buhari threw Tinubu under the bus, no doubt but, the latter should be blamed for not seeing it coming. Buhari hands are on this with his stamp of approval boldly over it.

Hey, aiye nse ru e! Let's move on and pray they perform.
BusinessRe: How To Overcome Spending Without Caution by whitecat1: 4:01pm On Jun 04, 2015
Leaving your cards at home and putting small cash in your pocket go a long way. You see how the money goes out when you spend cash as opposed to 'swipe me' that you hear everywhere with your debit/credit card.
