Hi Jukeblam,

Congratulations on the birth of your son.

I have a question I would like to ask, and I've send you a pm. Please respond when you have time. Thanks

You are just making a making a mountain out of a molehill

I'm sorry but I'm not about to engage in a rather unnecessary back and forth. I believe in self respect and respecting others whether I agree with them or not, and whether I'm engaging them in person or virtually. There's some kind of nastiness that's totally uncalled for. Anyhow, to each his own.

'Please don't be silly' is NOT an insult. Its not the same as saying...'you are silly'

Irrespective of what you perceive the meaning to be, is it really necessary to use this kind of language even if you don't agree with someone else's position? You can agree respectfully, but I personally find this kind of language very immature, to say the least.

@femoric9

If she is 25 weeks and was planning on having her baby in the US, how then would it have been possible for her return date to be 25 June? Also, apart from the 8k she said she had in her MasterCard, did she have any cash on her? I think they gave her 2 weeks because they didn't believe her story and if indeed they got their visas as a family in Jan 2004, it is curious that they all never travelled for the vacation they had claimed to be planning on going for and then more than a year later she is using the visa for birthing purposes.

Her best bet is to travel back home after the two weeks, and then once there get in touch with the Embassy and declare her intentions of using the same visa to go have her baby. While doing so, she should have all her documents ready just incase she is called in for interview, and should be able to prove that she can pay her bills.

Hi BSharon,
I had sent you a pm a few days ago wanting to know more about the hospital you're using in Houston and more importantly regarding the Soul Care place. It would be great to hear from you when you have the time.

I am currently in dr Mbagwus office but he is not here yet. So far his nurses are attending to me okay and giving me tips on free baby showers at hospitals but not met him yet. I am told he offers accommodation as well so I will try ask him for you guys interested. Seems I might change hospital sef as the nurses just gave me info on the other hospital he is affiliated to. 2700 for vaginal and it includes epidural already o and paediAtrician. I can't believe it yet but will visit the two hospitals and make up my mind.

Hello MamaTobenna,
Thanks for the update. Please let us know about the accommodation once you have spoken with the doctor. Regarding the hospital, the one I had been told about is Centinela hospital. What is the name of the other hospital he is affiliated with, I would be interested to know for comparison purposes.

nothing on Accomodation yet.checking extended stay and airbnb but it is pretty expensive.

Thanks for your feedback. I had read somewhere on this blog from people that had used Dr Mbagwu last year that he owns housing near the hospital that he rents out to his patients (international). I don't know if you've asked him about this. I am not due until several months down the line, therefore I haven't yet made contact with his office. As I have heard that he is a good doctor and the package is reasonable I am leaning towards using him, so beginning to check out accommodation options.
