Every election year, PDP in Lagos usually goes into party primaries divided into various groups. Once the primaries are concluded, they are now divided into 3 parties. The winners, the elders and the disgruntled losers.

The losers work against the winners in the general elections and make them lose. The elders pretend to be neutral but sabotage the winners so that they can't usurp their control of the party. The primary winners now end up as state losers and they end up fighting themselves till the next election year where the cycle is repeated again.
