2019: Thousands of people welcome Sowore back to the country. By Ogunsona Peter. The tranquility of the environment of people hanging onto their hat and looking forward to welcome their visitors back in the country at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos was on Monday night changed on spur of moment. It was as if the return of Jesus Christ is here, just like the return of the President of the world. Chanting all over the vicinity as youths (young guys and ladies) sings with ecstasy, in jubilation and with an overwhelming feeling of great happiness welcome the most vibrant, young, intelligent and the leading Presidential aspirant, Mr. Omoyele Sowore. They caused a scene and a strong message as Nigerians gear up for the 2019 elections. One of the workers at the airport told a reporter that, he has landed for almost three hours but being stylishly delayed by one DSS who withdrew his international passport twice and not because of anything fishy, but because he has been alerted by his ally how crowd clusters around the premises of the airport to welcome the most dependable and unswerving man. Mr. Sowore returned to Nigeria after a series of townhall meetings with Nigerians in the Diaspora and who is the first young Presidential aspirant that has done over thirty town hall meetings in Nigeria. A supporter, Shola Adewuyi, can't hide his feelings for Sowore as he spoke about his brilliancy and how he has managed to supersede the other aspirants with his act and non relentless efforts to make Nigeria great again. "I haven't seen any aspirants as active as Sowore, meeting people at the grass root level and engaging them all is not as easy as it seems. I have listened to other young aspirants as well, but none can be compared to this vibrant man. It's like God gave him all the wisdoms in this whole world to rescue Nigerians from this shambles we are in." He said. One man named Odugwu Emeka, who was among the supporters says Nigerians can't wait for a young, vibrant, visionary and credible leader like Mr. Sowore to be the next president of Nigeria. "I am so happy that Nigeria has gotten the final answer to the kind of president we have been agitating for. We are sick and tired of old men ruling this country, people that are old enough to be in grave. How can they govern and take control of the country or propel the country to greatness?. Sowore is young and we are looking forward to vote massively for him" he concluded. The Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore who visited so many countries that includes Italy, Spain, Germany and the UK among others recently— will be a force to reckon with in the next election. The Sowore’s train is moving like a speed of light and youths are in high spirits to have him contesting for the next Presidential election.

By Ogunsona Peter. The Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore continues his campaign in Atlanta as he met with Nigerians in diaspora. He has been to so many countries on his ambition to become the next President of Nigeria. Nigeria, who is among the worst countries with bad roads which left her citizens’ vehicles in dreadful and damaging state. They feel trapped with nowhere to turn. This has brought frustrations and a feeling of resentful anger to the people who owns a newly and old vehicles. The potholes on major highways has cost lives which had also brought sorrow, wretchedness, distressed and lack of feeding to some families if the bread winner had been among the stooges of the accident. The late President J.F. Kennedy of USA once stated that “America has good roads, not because America is rich, but America is rich because it has good roads.” The crux of this matter is that a country cannot be rich without good infrastructure. Moreover, the portholes on the major federal roads are making life miserable for the travelers because of fear of thieves, armed robbers and accident which might have a hand in bad roads. This alone left people who has no choice to pay a huge amount of money to the road side vulcanizers and mechanics waiting for the next victims. The road workers also mentioned how they have had low revenue due to bad roads, portholes on the highways. Lack of good network of roads also has made some Nigerians not to travel at the middle of night. We should be reminded that Nigeria has several agencies that ought to have be responsible for the constructing and maintaining the roads. On paper, billions have been voted for the rehabilitation of the road network in Nigeria and nothing has come forth from it like a Fig tree. In his meeting, Sowore made mention on how his administration will improve on constructing the highway roads. “We must create a country that is working. It is not rocket science to clean the road and if there are portholes, you go there and fix it. When I was in Ibadan, I told the great people of Ibadan that Lagos to Ibadan road can be done in a month. Most postulates that it cannot be done. But, do you know that you can do four to ten miles of highways overnight? We just have to create the system and enforce the agencies doing so to do it.” While thousands of people in Nigeria are lamenting about the present state of the minimum wage being paid by the Federal Government, Sowore promised to pay a whopping hundred thousands Naira as his minimum “You cannot pay people eighteen thousand Naira and expect them to work for the country, it is not possible. Our minimum wage will be $300. If we pay 100,000 to workers, I know it will not crash the economy instead of that it will stimulate it. Anytime America have problem with their economy, they use money to invest in the economy” Corruption has been the major issues facing Nigeria and has eaten deep to every nooks and crannies of all parastatals in the country. Sowore put down to why previous and present administrations can't succumb to agitations of Nigerians. “If we invest in people, the country will be better. The reason why the country is in shambles is because of corruption. 70% of our problems is corruption. When I become the next President of Nigeria, all these will be eliminated.” Sowore who visited so many countries that includes Italy, Spain, Germany and the UK among others recently— will be a force to reckon with in the next election. The Sowore’s train is moving like a speed of light and youths are in high spirits to have him contesting for the next Presidential election

By Ogunsona Peter. Sounds of trumpets and drums all over every creation, high and low, it was as if a renowned president daughter is about to get married. While some students were seen peeling off the corn hub like monkeys peels off the back of a banana, some were happy to witness the first carnival in the school as a first timer. Every departments of the school has their costume on, a few wore a half yellow sun top with a dirty jean, some wore a blue shirt with a red stripe on a black jean. It was a sunny day and free from rain, the cloud looks blue-bless as the carnival is about to go down at the one of the most illustriousness tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Lagos State Polytechnic, popularly known as LASPOTECH is a government-owned tertiary institution located in Ikorodu, Lagos State which was visited by the campaign team of the Presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore. The entourage of Sowore was about to pave way into the school premises when one of the gatekeeper whom stood in front of the gate raises his hand to stop the convoy of the #TakeItBack movement. But as soon as he saw the beautiful colored-stickers and posters of Sowore, he recoiled from the convoys and orated a word saying, “This is the man we are already waiting for to take over the government from these old people. We need him to lead us to the promise land. Please you can go in” as he salutes the first car. Market women were seen sitting on the pavement of the school podium, selling and making their daily means for themselves. The carnivals kick starts and some of Sowore’s campaign members joined the students while dancing towards the school senates' building. The student’s ‘Eyos’ were seen with the sticker of the Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, showing their supports for him becoming the next President of Nigeria. One of the students, Oluwakemi Arowolo, whom was present at the carnival disclosed to #TakeItBack movement that “we want a youth to lead us, we know what they can offer to us, we are sick and tired of being ruled by old men. I’m very happy right now because a new Nigeria is here, I know with Sowore, Nigeria will be great” she said. The welfare director, Adeyemi, and all his students encouraged Sowore to pick a party like a bat of hell so they can start aiding in supporting and rooting for him. “We know how vibrant and active the former UNILAG SUG President was, he single-handedly fought for students against the cultists terrorizing the equanimity and harmony of the school. He was even expelled twice for doing nothing just because he said Nigeria deserves democracy and this was based on emotion. We are just urging him to pick a party quickly so that we can troop out massively to support him” he concluded.

It was as if their messiah is here when the Presidential candidate, fearless and dauntless man, Omoleye Sowore, visits Edmonton, Canada for a town hall meeting in one of the most successful outings. Edmonton is the capital city of the Canadian province of Alberta and it is a cultural, governmental and educational center. The meeting was graced by prominent Nigerians living in Canada, professionals who are ready to take it back with Sowore and have pledged to use all they have to make sure the sitting government is unseated. Doctors, Pharmacists, Engineers among others are already seated in the hall discussing and muttering, holding pen and papers as they await to write down what the young, vibrant and the visionary leader who has spoken to large crowd in Nigeria without reading from books or having any speech written down for him. One of Nigerians who is present in the meeting can’t bury her displeasure in the mud as she have no other outlet for her feelings than to vent anger just like a raging bull. She told Sowore how the country has been in state of mess and as it is, it is as dangerous as drink driving. “I don’t know how Nigerians got to this place, the country is now a place where people will just do evil act and go scot free” she said. The country has been in the state of chaos, unrest due to lack of good governance. According to research, from 2012 to 2018 over four thousand eight hundred and thirty six people have been killed by Fulani Herds Men. Some of the problems facing Nigeria are the Fulani herds’ men, lack of good health and security. Sowore who dressed neatly in his well-crafted blue native cloth, made mention on how health is one of the most important things he will put in place when he becomes the President of Nigeria “The biggest issue on health is access. A lot of Nigerians do not have access to good health and that is one of the reasons people die easily in the country. We need to have this kind of platform that all Nigerians must have access to good health. The politicians always deceives us that they have built world-class hospitals in their state, but when sick, they are the first person who will be flown out of the country. If only they can be forced to receive treatment in the same place when they are sick. They shouldn’t be allowed to travel out. I know that most of the reliable and credible doctors in the country have left due to negligence, lack of funds and good facilities from the government but as soon as I become the president, all these things will be put in place.” He said In Nigeria, power supply is one of the major challenges her citizens is facing. Nigerians have been clamoring for twenty-four hours power supply but the former and present administrations have failed them. Many believes the country has been placed under spell not to have power due to billions of dollars which have been allocated to revive the power sector in the country for years but we are still in darkness . The man of the people right now whom some Nigerians have so much believe in, articulated on why the power sector is corrupt and why there is nothing spectacular and sensational in providing electricity. “Nigeria not having ample power supplies has to do with corruption. You cannot have a country where the President is importing generators and you will want the same country to have electricity. There is nothing spectacular in providing electricity. If it were to be that onerous, Ghana and Benin Republic will not have power” he explained further. Omoyele Sowore concluded his town hall meeting in Edmonton which is the major economic center for northern and central Alberta and a major center for the oil and gas industry in Canada that, “the people of Nigeria should discontinue pampering people who are criminals, it is just something we have to do for our next generation. If we don’t fix Nigeria now, we have to fix it later. Why don’t we take over now and fix our country before it is too late” |
id911:Atiku can never become the president of this country. |
OZAOEKPE:I will be glad if you can tell us how he contributed to the Fulani Herds men killings in Nigeria and how Buhari has turned this country to poverty country. |
