AAC: APPROVAL FOR NOMINATION FEES/ EXEMPTION FOR ASPIRANTS CONTESTING UNDER OUR PARTYS’ BANNER

Our great party has finally given approval for all aspirants seeking to contest for various offices across the federation under the party’s’ banner to pay the following Norminations Fees:

(a) Ward Councillorship Aspirants - N20,000
(b) LGA chairman - N50,000
(c) House of Assembly Aspirants
-N200,000
(d) House of Representative Aspirants -N300,000
(e) Senatorial Aspirants -N500,000
(f) Governorship Aspirants - N750,000; and,
(g) Presidential Aspirants - N2,000,000.

Besides, reducing Fees for our Women by twenty- five per cent(Women - 25% discount), the party, also, in an effort to encourage other politically underprivileged groups in the society to partake fully in its activities did also grant waiver to following categories:

1. Handicapped / disabled - no fees
2. Youth corpers / tertiary institution student - no fees
3. Less than 25 years - no fees
4. Artisans / apprentices under 25 - no fees,
5. Honorably discharged security personnel from police, military, civil defense, road safety - no fees
6. Serving or retired teachers, nurses and emergency service workers - no fees.

Aspirants across the country are advised to take advantage of the party’s’ gesture to collect the forms.

Unfortunately they don't have the political structure to even get up to 50,000 votes.

The only problem we are having in this country is the willingness of youths to support a youth as their president. Though, they might not have had party structure down but i know of Sowore being in politics for over 25 years ago. If you are a good student of history, you will know that Nigeria needs urgent revolution and during Germany and France revolution, no one is talking about being in politics or a politician. The youths under 15 years just unites together to unseat the ruling party because their country is not working. Enough of APC or PDP! Nigeria is not working.

Well, to some extent i might agree with you due to incompetence leaders that Nigeria have produced. But, Omoyele Sowore is trying o tell Buhari that walking 800M and adding it to his success in nothing to write about. We have gotten to a situation in Nigeria that we need a young and credible Presidnt this time. Nigeria is tiring and is not working for anybody. ENOUGH OF THE PDP AND APC!!!

@ngrpresident Buhari is celebrating an 800m walk as a I sign of fitness, a few hours later another aspirant Abubakar Atiku @atiku is celebrating his regular exercise of 1 mile on a treadmill. In 2017, I ran the New York marathon and finished under 4 hours! You can now guess who is most qualified to become Nigeria’s President.

Samuel Ogundipe, a journalist with Premium Times, who was arrested and detained by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force has been released.

He was released on Friday morning after he was granted bail by Abdulwahab Mohammed, the Magistrate of the Kubwa Grade 1 Magistrate Court in Abuja.

The judge granted a bail in the sum of N500,000 and a surety, resident within the jurisdiction of the court.

Ogundipe was released after the bail conditions were met.

His arrest, which sparked outrage within and outside Nigeria, according to the Police, was premised on his refusal to disclose his source for the story he wrote on the IGP's recommendations to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on the invasion of the National Assembly by operatives of the Department for State Services.

His arrest was also protested by Nigerians, who marched to the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Thursday to demand his release.
